Former ‘Disney’ star Kyle Massey is facing serious criminal charges after allegedly sending pornographic material to a 13-year old girl.
According to legal documents, Massey — who played Cory Baxter on the hit show ‘That’s So Raven’ — has been charged with one count of communication with a minor for immoral purposes. The actor is also being accused of electronically sending sexually explicit images to the young girl during the months of December 2018 and January 2019.
Law enforcement began investigating the case in early 2020, according to reports, and the girl’s mother told cops that the actor has known the alleged victim since she was 4 years old. Apparently, the police were given a thumb drive by the girl’s family with contained the illicit material which was sent over Snapchat while the girl was just 13-years-old. According to one report, the electronic files contained a series of recordings which included a pornographic video clip and “a video of a man who appears to be Massey exposing his penis.

This isn’t the first time Massey has been accused of the same crimes, back in March of 2019, the actor was sued by the same family for $1.5 Million for allegedly sending the “numerous sexually explicit text messages, images, and videos.” At the time, Massey claimed he was being extorted over the situation. In the lawsuit, the unnamed girl claimed she met Massey when she was four years old and kept in touch with him because she was interested in a career in Hollywood. Massey allegedly became close with the girl’s family and indicated to them she should move from Seattle to Los Angeles to live with him and his girlfriend. At the time, the girl’s mother claims Massey “held himself out as a father figure” and their communication increased in 2018 after the girl indicated to him she was interested in a possible role on the rebooted version of “Cory In The House.”
Kyle Massey Is A No-Show At His Criminal Arraignment

To be clear, the girl’s legal team opted to file a civil suit against Massey, but the case stalled after the lawyer allegedly told them they didn’t think Massey had enough money to pay any large settlement or judgment. At the time, the girl’s family decided to take the evidence to the Sheriff’s Office and file a police report.
Interestingly, Massey was scheduled to appear for an arraignment on the charges, yesterday, in Kings County Criminal Court — but was a no-show. It’s unclear, however, if the actor even knew he had been charged with a crime.
