Kate Gosselin Predicts Lonely Holiday Celebrations Amid Family Drama

Kate Gosselin's Thanksgiving celebrations may not be a family affair!

The "Jon & Kate Plus 8" alum recently shared her holiday plans with fans, revealing that she might not spend Thanksgiving with her children. She welcomed sextuplets and twins during her marriage to Jon Gosselin.

Although Kate Gosselin has repeatedly claimed to have a great relationship with her children, she remains estranged from one of the sextuplets, her son Collin. The drama between the pair resurfaced with infidelity allegations.

Gosselin shared her Thanksgiving plans with fans on TikTok, revealing that she and her boyfriend, Steve Neild, had invited some of the kids over for the holiday. However, because of the distance between her home and her children's college, they might not be able to make it.

"They don't have enough time off for Thanksgiving to come here and then get home back to college. It's just gonna be me and him, I guess," Gosselin said. She noted that when she shared the news with Neild and asked what they would do, he suggested they go dancing.

Neild's playful suggestion did not sit right with Gosselin, who reported him to fans for having a sense of humor she did not appreciate. For those unaware, Gosselin cannot go dancing as she is currently healing from a fractured leg following an incident that occurred earlier this month.

Naturally, Gosselin's post sparked a conversation in the comments, and she happily responded to a few queries. When someone wondered why she was far from her kids, she revealed that she had moved to live with Neild.

"For my bf's work. He rented a house andme and the dogs came along. We will go home to my house when he's done. It'll be a while, but we will eventually go home!" Gosselin explained. When another fan wondered why she only invited some of her kids and not all of them, she stressed:

"The ones I didn't invite already have solid plans. They know they're always invited, even without an invitation. They're my kids!"

When others implored her to unveil Neild in one of her Lives or videos, Gosselin declared that it was up to her boyfriend to decide when he was ready to go public. She announced their relationship after joining TikTok in August but initially kept Neild's identity a secret.

Gosselin's inability to go dancing for Thanksgiving stemmed from what she described as a "life-altering event." The Blast covered the story early this month, reporting that Gosselin had undergone surgery to place plates and pins in her leg.

Gosselin required support after suffering a tibial plateau fracture. She explained in a TikTok Live that her dog Meika ran at her at full speed, leading to one of the three most painful surgeries she had ever experienced.

Before sharing the whole story, Gosselin sparked concern for her well-being after asking for prayers on social media. She shared a picture of her hand connected to an IV and implored fans to keep her in their prayers because she was "scared."

Following the hospital updates, The Blast shared that Gosselin raved about her boyfriend's tender love and care amid her recovery. She shared a video capturing her day and the sweet ways Neild cared for her.

Gosselin credited him for preparing breakfast in bed, featuring a bowl of cereal and coffee. She also took fans through her morning routine, capturing her medications, shower, and other daily routines.

The post followed the controversy surrounding the timeline of her relationship with Neild. While Gosselin claimed their romance had been going on for a little over a year, her ex-husband and son, Collin, have accused her of dating Neild as far back as 2009.

After accusing his mom of infidelity, The Blast reported that Collin had doubled down on his claims on his Instagram Story. He challenged Kate to a lie detector test, telling her to prove her innocence through the procedure.

Collin first called out his mother in a series of Instagram Story posts, imploring her to stop lying and take accountability for the pain she caused with her affair. He accused Kate of sharing hotel rooms with Neild during their family vacations, claiming his room was next to theirs.

Despite his allegations, Collin stressed that his comments weren't meant to shame his mother. Instead, he wanted accountability because his father was painted as a villain for moving on while Kate had been secretly dating Neild behind the scenes.
