Ariana Grande may have just turned another year older, but it doesn’t seem she’s any wiser! Fans are accusing her of mocking Native American and Asian cultures.
Over the weekend, Grande celebrated her 28th birthday on June 26. It appears she kept the festivities to a minimum, which is very true to her style.
To commemorate her day of birth, the songstress posted a cute throwback photo of her from when she was a child captioning it, “hbd tiny, I’m taking care of you."

She also posted a carousel of videos and photos of herself singing in the car. On Monday, June 28, Grande reposted a video of her with a group of her family and friends singing karaoke.
In the video Grande can be seen wearing a furry cheetah-print hat with a plastic crown on atop of it.

Alright, so why exactly are fans coming for her and calling her out for making fun of different cultures.
In a recently surfaced video posted to Dalton Gomez’s Instagram account, fans can see Grande sitting in the middle of a circle while three other people dance and chant around her.
The video appears to have been captured on a home video surveillance camera and originally posted to Dalton’s account.
Grande reposted it to her story captioning the video, “My favorite video ever.” She tagged Dalton, Hale Leon, her brother Frankie Grande’s fiancé, and Doug Middlebrook.

The date of the video is unknown, but it appears to be recent!
The “POV” singer can be heard making noises and almost shrieking while one friend beats a drum while another dons a rice hat, which is commonly associated with Asian culture.
According to social media outlet PopFaction, Grande and company were attempting to “summon a spirit,” and she has since deleted the video from her story.
Dalton’s Instagram account is private, so at this time we cannot say whether or not he took the video down.
Many fans were extremely upset with the singer and took to Twitter to express their disgust.
Fans are very upset with Ariana!
One fan pointed out that this isn’t the first controversial thing Grande has done writing, “after being racist to black ppl by doing CA stuff, to asians by calling them bots, now to native americans by mocking their culture her fake ass needs to be stopped asap.”
Another fan wrote, “Ari, sweetie, love you but what the f**k is goin on I’m seeing feathers and it ain’t lookin good.”
This fan would love for her and her team to be held accountable for their actions after they seemingly worked to get the video wiped from all social media.
The fan tweeted, “Ariana grande disrespecting indigenous people’s cultures? Americans have such a long history of dehumanizing native americans but shouldn’t we hold those with a platform to a higher standard? Even if it is to the bare minimum?”
Grande, Dalton and her friends in the video have yet to release any sort of apology or statement.
