The rapper, who recently received a shoutout on the Grammy Award winner’s new album “The Life of a Showgirl,” didn’t mince words when asked about her romance with the NFL star.
In true 50 Cent fashion, he praised the power couple but took a not-so-subtle swipe at Kelce’s ex, Kayla Nicole, leaving everyone stunned.

The “Power” actor then doubled down when asked if he approved of their relationship, replying, “I do, I do. I like it a lot better than the last thing [Kelce] had going on.”
The interviewer, Mona Kosar Abdi, was caught off guard by the blunt remark, but 50 Cent didn’t back down, simply grinning and repeating, “It’s a lot better,” seemingly taking a swipe at Kelce’s past relationship with Nicole.

The outlet shared the interview on X, and in no time, the comments section exploded with angry fans' reactions.
Many users focused their anger on the interviewer, who went viral last week after sharing a video of herself bashing Taylor Swift.
“That journalist has the most disgusting, misogynistic, sexual take about Taylor uploaded on TikTok last week. Page should not mention Taylor’s name in her interviews ever again,” one fan wrote.
A second person shared, “I want to know why this woman is still on the payroll after that disgusting, unprofessional TikTok last week.”
Another fan added, “Trying to figure out how Mona still has a job after her level of unprofessionalism on TT when discussing Taylor Swift.”
Some users also tagged Extra TV, demanding an explanation for allowing the interviewer to have such an interview after her video.
Others praised 50 Cent for his comments, which they believed “disappointed” the interviewer.
50 Cent Reacts To Taylor Swift’s Shoutout On Her Album
While fans focused on his comment about Nicole, 50 Cent also took a moment to reflect on being mentioned in Swift’s music.
On her song, "Ruin the Friendship," Swift sings, “And it was not an invitation / But as the 50 Cent song played / Should’ve kissed you anyway.”
The 50-year-old said he found the nod “really cool,” explaining, “If you listen to the song, it’s to what was going on in culture at that time. The music, you couldn’t miss it at that point, and that’s why it was cool to me.”
He added that Swift’s lyric referenced an era when he was dominating the charts, calling it “a moment in music no one could ignore.”

Taylor Swift, who released “The Life of a Showgirl” at the start of the month, appeared to take her own shot at Nicole in one of the album’s standout tracks.
In the song, she sings, “You couldn’t understand it, why you felt alone / You were in it for real, she was in her phone / And you were just a pose.”
According to the Daily Mail, fans quickly interpreted the lyrics as a reference to Kelce’s ex-girlfriend, recalling an old clip in which the football star told Nicole to “get off your phone.”
Social media lit up almost instantly. “TAYLOR SWIFT JUST CALLED KAYLA NICOLE TF OUT,” one fan wrote on X, while another commented, “The Kayla digs are savage.”
Though Swift has never publicly mentioned Nicole, the lyrics, combined with 50 Cent’s comments, have fueled a storm of speculation about what really went on before her romance with Kelce began.
