She's been dubbed the "most influential female race car driver in the world," but for Lindsay Brewer, that title still feels surreal. The 28-year-old Colorado native, who first fell in love with racing at the age of 11 after hopping into a go-kart at a friend's birthday party, has transformed from a motorsport prodigy into a social media powerhouse, inspiring millions of fans both on and off the track. Now competing in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America Series and gearing up for the World Finals in Misano, Italy, Lindsay Brewer sat down with The Blast for an exclusive conversation about her rise, resilience, and redefining what it means to be a woman in motorsports.

When asked what it's like to be called the most influential female driver in the world, Brewer admitted she still finds it "crazy."
"I've never really put titles on myself," she said. "When I hear that, it's surprising, but it's amazing at the same time because I love the fact that I can inspire girls and women to go after their dreams."
For Brewer, the recognition isn't about ego, but it's about impact. Her influence has become a beacon for young girls who dream of breaking into a male-dominated sport. "It's really cool to hear," she added, "but I just think of myself as Lindsay."

Brewer's journey started with pure serendipity. Growing up in Arvada, Colorado, she spent her childhood on four-wheelers and snowmobiles, but racing wasn't in the family DNA.
"My family has no racing background," she recalled. "But when I went to that birthday party at a go-kart track, something just clicked. I beat all the adults and all the boys, and I was hooked."
By the age of 12, she was already winning regional championships and setting her sights on a professional career. "Finding my passion that early changed everything," Brewer said. "That first win made me realize I could actually make this my life."

Now, Brewer is making that childhood dream a reality. She recently celebrated her first win in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Series, sharing the victory with a female co-driver, a moment she calls one of the proudest of her career.
"It was so cool to show the world that two women paired together can beat all the men," she said with a laugh. "That race was really special."
She also reflected on the thrill of racing at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, calling it a "pinch-me" career highlight. And with her next challenge, competing for a world championship in Italy, Brewer is ready to push harder than ever. "It's nerve-wracking, but I've never raced in Europe, and that's something I've always dreamed of."
Brewer's Mission Is To Prove Women Deserve A Place In Every Male-Dominated Field

Brewer's mission extends beyond trophies. She wants to break long-standing myths about women in motorsports.
"There's this idea that women aren't as fast as men or can't be taken seriously," she said. "Winning my first race was a great step in proving that wrong. Competing at a high level shows that we belong here — and it's not just about racing, it's about showing women in any male-dominated field that they can do it too."
Her success is also a testament to her business savvy. After earning a business management degree from San Diego State University, Brewer learned how to handle sponsorships, branding, and social media with the same precision she brings to the racetrack. "You can't just be quick behind the wheel," she explained. "You have to understand business, marketing, and how to run yourself as a brand."

When she's not racing, Brewer admits she's a self-described "low-key gamer." "I love 'Elden Ring,' 'Hogwarts Legacy,' and 'Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom,'" she laughed. "I travel so much that when I'm home, I just want to chill out, play games, or read."
With over two million social media followers, Brewer has learned to embrace both sides of her career: the influencer and the athlete. "Some people don't take me seriously when they see me making TikToks," she said. "But social media is part of why I get to do what I love. It helps pay the bills, and I'm proud of that."

Her message for the next generation? "You can do anything you set your mind to if you believe in yourself," Brewer said. "Honestly, you have to be a little delusional. Even if you're not the most skilled person, if you believe you can do it and put in the work, you can achieve anything."
Lindsay Brewer isn't just driving cars, but she's driving change. From the go-kart tracks of Colorado to international circuits, her story is proof that passion, grit, and self-belief can take you anywhere, even to the winner's podium.
