Jennifer Lopez's Remark About Her Exes Reportedly Left Ben Affleck 'Livid' And Feeling 'Burned For Good'

Jennifer Lopez's candid statement about her former partners has reportedly struck a nerve with her most recent ex-husband, Ben Affleck.

The pair divorced in 2024 after nearly two years of marriage, and have seemingly remained on amicable terms since then.

However, Jennifer Lopez's recent remark about her exes not being "capable" enough to love her right has reportedly left Ben Affleck feeling "livid."

Following Lopez's blunt comments about her past high-profile relationships on "The Howard Stern Show," new reports have revealed how Ben Affleck, whom she separated from in 2024, reacted to the remarks.

One insider who spoke with British-American Journalist Rob Shuter's #ShuterScoop claimed that Affleck is "livid," particularly about Lopez saying she's "never been truly loved."

The source added, "He feels like she's rewriting history. He gave her everything — love, stability, a second chance — and she's out here saying no one ever loved her? It's insulting."

Recently, Affleck was even seen heaping praise on Lopez for her performance in "Kiss of the Spider Woman," a movie he executive-produced.

At the time, he described her as someone who was always going to give her all to a project and that she worked "enormously hard" to bring the movie to fruition.

While the remarks unsurprisingly fueled speculation about a possible reconciliation, those close to the situation have shut down the rumors, saying Affleck now feels "burned for good" by Lopez's comments.

Lopez's remarks came after Stern posed the question, "Do you think you've truly been loved?" to which Lopez responded, "No."

The singer then went on to say that "I learned that it's not that I'm not lovable, it's that they're not capable," a statement that would likely have further struck a nerve with her exes.

She added, "They don't have it in them. They need to appreciate the little person inside of them. They need to love them."

Amid her revelation, Lopez then zeroed in on her failed marriage to Affleck, saying it was "the best thing that ever happened" to her.

She explained that the experience set her on a journey of self-discovery, one that involved working with various therapists and coaches to gain a deeper understanding of herself.

According to Lopez, the main issue was that she didn't love herself, which made all the "houses, rings, marriages," and other things her exes gave her never truly bring a sense of fulfillment.

She now believes that her journey of self-discovery has left her feeling "much more self-assured" and "self-aware of the things that have happened to me."

"How I learned to love, how I felt neglected — all the things that are in your head as a person — and know who I am and just really appreciate that person," the actress further explained. "[I] feel really comfortable and good in being myself, all the good parts and all the kind of complicated things."

Despite Lopez appearing sincere in her recent remarks, some people aren't buying it.

"Jennifer's incapable of loving anyone but herself. She's the star, and everyone else is background," another insider told Stuter.

Another person claimed that the actress knew her remarks would hurt her exes, but she didn't care whose feelings were hurt.

"She knew this would sting," said the source, who is allegedly a close friend of Lopez. "But J.Lo's not in the business of protecting feelings anymore. She's telling her truth—even if it leaves a few broken hearts behind."

Unlike Affleck, who seems to have decided to nurse his anger privately, Lopez's other ex, Ojani Noa, took his grievances public in a furious Instagram rant over the weekend.

"Stop putting us down. Stop putting me down with your victim card," the 51-year-old wrote, per The Blast. "The problem is not us. Not me. The problem is you. You're the one who couldn't keep it in your pants."

In addition to accusing the singer of infidelity and claiming she was playing the victim,  Noa also called out Lopez for choosing fame and fortune over their marriage.

"I'm an amazing, loving person, great human being. Honest, faithful to you, never lied, never miss behave, never cheated on you," Noa stated, claiming that he was a good man to the singer.

"But you. You chose fame and fortune moving apart of our relationship..Tell the truth for once," he demanded. "Let people know you are the problem. You should be embarrassed, ashamed of yourself."
