Jones, the Pittsburgh Steelers player who took down Rodgers in last week's game, isn't ruling out tackling him again after their heated moment.

"We'll see on Sunday after he throws another touchdown," the 24-year-old told reporters on Tuesday, October 21. "I'm gonna tackle him again."

Jones' remarks came after the celebration moment that left Rodgers visibly irritated.

The former Green Bay Packers star appeared red-faced and annoyed when Jones tackled him from behind following a 68-yard touchdown pass. After getting up, Rodgers shoved Jones away in frustration.

Despite the tense exchange, Jones insists there's no animosity between them.

"We're still joking about it," he said with a grin. "Yeah, he was a little mad, but sorry, you know, it's football, it gets intense."

The Georgia native went on to praise Rodgers, now in his 21st NFL season, for his competitiveness and leadership.

"It's just the energy that he brings and I bring," Jones explained, per People Magazine. "He told me, 'Don't lose the fire,' and I told him the same."

Fans online, however, had mixed reactions to Rodgers' behavior. Some criticized his demeanor, noting that the shove was just Jones celebrating with his quarterback, and there was no "need for Rodgers to act like a diva."

As the Steelers prepare to host the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, October 26, all eyes will once again be on Rodgers, who's facing his former team for the first time since their split.

According to CBS Sports, the game carries historic weight: if Rodgers leads Pittsburgh to victory, he'll become just the fifth quarterback in NFL history to defeat all 32 teams, joining Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, and Brett Favre.

Rodgers' journey to this moment has been anything but smooth. After 18 seasons, four MVP awards, and a Super Bowl title with the Packers, his time in Green Bay ended in a messy breakup that sent him to the New York Jets in 2023. When asked about the upcoming matchup, Rodgers remained calm and focused.

"This is a short week, division opponent, anything can happen," he said. "Obviously, Joe (Flacco) played really well for them, and (Ja'Marr) Chase and Tee (Higgins) got going for them."

Rodgers continued, "This is the NFL. We had a chance to really open up some space, but we're 4-2, still first in division, got a couple home games coming up, back-to-back, another Sunday night opportunity against my former team."

The 41-year-old added: "I'm not going to ride the rollercoaster and I know (Steelers coach) Mike (Tomlin) isn't, and hopefully guys follow suit."

Meanwhile, Rodgers' personal life remains as intriguing as his career. Months after revealing he had secretly gotten married, fans are still trying to piece together details about his mysterious wife, a woman he has only identified by her first name, Brittani.

The four-time MVP surprised everyone in June when he casually mentioned during an interview that he had tied the knot "a couple of months ago."

Since then, the couple's relationship has been shrouded in secrecy. Rodgers has been seen wearing a black wedding ring, but he and Brittani have never been photographed together, and her presence at any of his games has yet to be confirmed.
