Mark Wahlberg has reportedly dropped a staggering $37 million on a luxury Florida mansion years after ditching Hollywood, California, for a more hospitable state.
The 54-year-old actor moved to Las Vegas in 2022 but appears to have fallen out of love with the city after he sold his $16.6 million townhouse the following year.
Despite leaving America's entertainment hub, Mark Wahlberg remains very active and has recently opened up about the "biggest sacrifice" he made for his Hollywood career.
Mark Wahlberg Buys $37 Million Florida Mansion

Wahlberg seems completely done with California. The "Boogie Nights" actor ditched the city of Angels in 2022 for Las Vegas, as he grew weary of the hustle and bustle of the culture.
However, he seemingly had a change of mind and placed his Las Vegas home on the market less than a year after moving.
Now, reports suggest he has dropped a mouthwatering $37 million on an ultra-luxurious "Billionaires Row" home in Florida, per the Daily Mail.
The property sits on 17,800 square feet of space across 2.7 acres of land. It boasts of a nearby guest house, a swimming pool, a home theater, a sauna, a wine cellar, and even a cigar lounge.
The actor's new home also features a home gym to maintain his fitness regimen, as well as a tennis court for him and his guests to enjoy the sport.
He and his family would have plenty of space, as the home comes with seven bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, and two powder rooms. Wahlberg bought the waterfront property from developer Aldo Stark, who had paid $11 million less than what he sold it to the actor for when he purchased it in January of this year.
The Movie Star Left L.A. For His Children

Wahlberg has been pretty vocal about his decision to leave California, explaining that he moved his family to Las Vegas for a better life and wanted to give his kids a "chance to thrive."
The "Transformers" actor, who shares four children, Ella, Grace, Michael, and Brendan, with wife Rhea Durham, previously moved to Las Vegas in 2022
"It's really giving the kids a chance to thrive," he told Fox News Digital in 2023. "It just has the best of both worlds. I know a lot of people, when they think Las Vegas, they think the Strip."
"But just about 15, 20 minutes away, there's a whole lot of other amazing areas that are all about family and community," he continued.
At the time, he stressed to the news outlet that the relocation was "really about giving the kids an opportunity to pursue their goals and dreams."
"My daughter's an equestrian," he said. "My son's a golfer. My oldest daughter, now she's off to college. My son's a junior."
Mark Wahlberg Wanted To Make Nevada Hollywood 2.0

Wahlberg had the intention of turning Las Vegas into Hollywood 2.0, as he lobbied the state's lawmakers to pass a tax incentive bill in an effort to attract film studios to the area.
During a previous appearance on "The Talk," the fitness enthusiast said, "I moved to Nevada, where, after this gubernatorial election, hopefully it will go to legislation and get a bill passed so we can get a tax credit for the state — build a state-of-the-art studio here and make this Hollywood 2.0."
In a conversation with Fox News, he explained, "We're always looking for new opportunities and new adventures."
"I hope to create a lot of opportunity here. And I moved to California originally to make movies. I've made three movies in the last 15 years in LA. So, as you know, it's been difficult," Wahlberg noted. "The kids are really happy, and it's all about them."
The Actor Said His Kids Were Thriving In Las Vegas

Wahlberg once spoke about the benefits of life in Vegas, claiming that he and his family were thriving in Sin City as they had "so much to do."
Speaking with E! News, Wahlberg explained that it was time for their kids to pursue their own interests in a new environment after he had chased his dreams in Los Angeles.
"I spent lots of time in L.A. pursuing my interests and my career, and now it's time for them to pursue theirs," the actor said. "Everybody is thriving there; it's been great."
"I want to be able to give my kids a better life and follow and pursue their dreams — whether it be my daughter as an equestrian, my son as a basketball player, my younger son as a golfer — this made a lot more sense for us," Wahlberg added.
Mark Wahlberg Opens Up About His 'Biggest Sacrifice'

Wahlberg's Hollywood exit doesn't mean he's pulling the plug on his illustrious film career, as he recently opened up about the "biggest sacrifice" he has made.
Noting that his career choice requires him to be away from his family, he was appreciative that his kids visited him on the set of his recent movie "Play Dirty," and also made time for the premiere in September.
"They were actually at the premiere last night, which is nice. And, you know, the biggest sacrifice with my job is being away from my family," Wahlberg told ABC News. "So, to be able to have them come and share that and experience it and just spend time with me, you know, visit dad so I can see their faces."
He then revealed that his children are no longer as interested in his line of work as they once were.
"In the 'Transformer' days, they were interested. They wanted to come. They wanted to see the action. They wanted to see Bumblebee. Now, they're like, 'Dad, this is boring,'" he joked.
