Alex Rodriguez Shows Off Fit Body In Shirtless Pic

It hasn't been a great year for Alex Rodriguez so far. The former Yankee player not only had to endure a rough breakup from fiancee Jennifer Lopez. He then had to deal with seeing all over social media with her new boo Ben Affleck. Rodriguez may have taken a little while longer than J. Lo to get his life back on track. That was to be expected though. Judging how seamless it was for Jlo to transition from him to Affleck. After a couple of months of rough workouts, Alex is looking like he could start for the Yankees tomorrow.

As a former athlete, getting back in the gym may not have been as hard for Rodriguez. It was reported though that A-Rod made a considerable investment in his body in the months following his breakup. He dropped 4,000 dollars on a workout program to lose some of the extra weight. 4k, for someone who is worth over 400 million is not such a big deal.

Plus, Rodriguez owns a ton of exercise facilities. Therefore, he didn't have too much trouble finding a place to work out!

Rodriguez has been taking to Instagram to post his workout videos for a little while now. Back in April, he had already posted before and after pictures where he showed off the progress that he has made since last December. Even though he's been documenting his transformation on social media he hadn't gone shirtless in this process until now.

It's certainly great to look good in a shirt and a blazer. That doesn't necessarily translate to looking great at the beach! We're sure that plenty of people can relate! In his shirtless pic though he looks extremely thin.

We all know that Alex's ex quickly took up a new relationship after their breakup. Sources close to Alex though mention that he isn't actively looking for love. In fact, it was rumored that he was dating Ben Affleck's ex Lindsay Shookus. That encounter though wasn't "romantic". The two are said to be good friends. Maybe they just met to share their thoughts on Ben Affleck. We can't imagine that either of the two had great things to say about the "Good Will Hunting" star.

Alex also posted a picture with his ex Cynthia Scurtis on an Instagram story recently. Whom he dubbed a "world-class mommy".

Plenty of fans have been worried about the former Yankee after his split from Jlo. In the comment section of the most recent picture that he posted though a user summed up Alex's situation rather nicely. The comment mentions that Alex is rich and handsome and therefore he'll be ok. While being rich and handsome doesn't always translate to happiness it seems Alex is trying to catch up with some long-lost friends in the midst of his breakup. Hitting the gym and looking good is always a great way to get over breakup too!
