Olympic Gold Medalist Suni Lee made headlines last week when she joined Angel Reese on the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show runway.
However, her big day has been overshadowed by individuals criticizing her walk and place in the fashion world because of her height.
Lee responded to the shade with a cheeky TikTok video, reminding her detractors that she accomplished an epic feat with Victoria's Secret, sparking tons of supportive responses from her loyal fans.
Suni Lee Claps Back At Haters Insisting She Shouldn't Have Been A Victoria's Secret Model
The six-time Olympic medalist shared a video on her social media to the tune of Ariana Grande's "successful," pleading with her critics to leave her alone following the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
"Can u guys stop bullying me?" she wrote, leading several fans to issue their own statements.
"You were on the runway and they were mad and at HOME," someone posted.
"Imagine talking about someone who was in a VS fashion SHOW," another wrote.
"Were any of the haters on the runway? Didn't think so," a third quipped.
"They're jealous because a 5-foot baddie got to be a VS model," another user added.
Lee Wanted To Walk The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show For A Specific Reason

During an interview with Marie Claire, Lee, 22, opened up about walking in her first-ever Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, explaining exactly why she chose to say yes to the coveted gig.
"Stepping into something like the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show felt like a dream outside of my comfort zone," she said. "But that's exactly why I said yes."
Lee also added that she walked in the VS Fashion Show to be a representative for minority women.
"Growing up, I didn't see many girls who looked like me in spaces like this. To now be here as an athlete, as someone who's worked so hard to achieve her dreams, it feels powerful," she said. "I want young girls to know they don't have to fit into just one box. You can chase Olympic gold and still own your femininity."
Lee Doesn't Play About Her Individuality

In another interview with Us Weekly, Lee got candid about her personal life ahead of the 2024 Summer Olympics, revealing that she's learned to find balance when it comes to what she shares with her millions of followers online.
"When it comes to talking about it on my platforms, and knowing what to share and what not to share, it gets a little bit dicey because I get questions all the time about what it actually is and stuff like that," she said. "I know people like to make their own assumptions and things like that. When it gets to where people are trying to tell me what I can and can't do with my life, that's where I draw the line."
Angel Reese Also Walked In The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

Lee wasn't the only big-name athlete to grace the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. WNBA superstar Angel Reese also joined the roster this year, modeling alongside famous names like Bella and Gigi Hadid and Candice Swanepoel.
"I literally could not stop smiling!" Reese admitted, according to a report from The Blast. "It's such a surreal and full-circle moment — just last year I was in the audience manifesting being on that runway, completely inspired and in awe of all the powerful women walking down the runway, and now I get to return as an Angel. This will be an unforgettable night that I'll forever be grateful for."
Reese went on to share that her purpose for walking in the show was much bigger than herself, adding, "I hope I can inspire women and girls everywhere and remind them that we can dominate in our field but also chase our goals outside of it — and for me, that's getting to walk down fashion and entertainment's most iconic runway."
Tyra Banks Sat This Year's Show Out

One notable name missing from this year's show was "America's Next Top Model" host Tyra Banks. The iconic runway model, who has walked in 10 VS Fashion Shows over the years, admitted she had to skip this year's event due to her commitments in Australia. However, she gushed about the brand, which she described as "an American staple," and expressed her excitement over the show's grand return.
"I'm so happy it's back," she said. "Ten years of being an Angel with them. ... "Being the first Black [model in] many things for them. Breaking down those doors and now seeing all that beautiful diversity following that door that we opened is so beautiful. I have a lot to thank for them."
