This NFL season has already been riddled with much controversy, according to several reports from The Blast. Most recently, the New York Giants were in the headlines after their head coach, Brian Daboll, exploded at the team's doctor on the sideline after his quarterback, Jaxson Dart, was sent to the medical tent after being hit in the head during a play.

While Daboll apologized to Dr. Scott A. Rodeo, the NFL and the NFL Players Association launched a formal investigation into the team to ensure they followed proper protocols. During a post-game conference, Daboll attempted to explain his position, insisting that his reaction was related to knowing which play to call.

"I would have burned a timeout if he could’ve come out there. I was asking, ‘How long is it gonna take?’ So, again, you want your guy out there, not at risk of anything else. But, you know, he came out. ‘I think he’s gonna be good.’ I’m like, ‘Is he gonna be good or not? I’m gonna call a timeout on fourth down and go for this son of a b-tch.’ You know what I mean? So, I love our doctors...I apologize. I was in the wrong," he said.

Days before that, Arizona Cardinals' head coach Jonathan Gannon was fined $100,000 by the team's owners after footage showed him punching a player repeatedly on the sideline.

The terrifying moment occurred after one of the team's defensive players dropped the ball just before crossing into the endzone, costing the Cardinals the game.

Despite the careless mistake, Gannon acknowledged his behavior was out of line and apologized for his actions publicly and privately.

"I woke up this morning and didn't feel great about it, honestly," he said. "So in the team meeting I addressed it, I apologized to Emari, apologized to the team. I just told them I let the moment of what happened get the better of me."
