Hollywood just got hit with a major dose of honesty from Jennifer Flavin, wife of action legend Sylvester Stallone.

Flavin offered her unfiltered take on one of the industry’s most sensitive topics, the rise in transgender-identifying children among celebrity families.

In a new interview, she claimed the trend stems less from identity politics and more from a deeper parenting problem inside Hollywood’s glitzy bubble.

Speaking on "The Katie Miller Podcast," Flavin didn’t hold back when asked why so many celebrity children are identifying as transgender.

Host Katie Miller posed the question directly, asking per Fox News Digital, “Why do you think it is that so many kids in Hollywood now and kids of, you know, celebrity parents are transgender? Is there something in the water in Hollywood?”

Stallone responded with candor. “I just think Hollywood is, you know, it’s all about expression,” she said. “So, you know, however you want to express yourself. If you feel like a cat today, you’re a cat. And it’s so loosey-goosey. I don’t think that we’re really understanding that these kids are not our accessories. They’re little human beings that need structure. And structure is really important for them because it helps their brain organize everything.”

Her comments immediately struck a chord and are likely to reignite debates about celebrity culture and parenting excesses in Los Angeles.

Jennifer Flavin went further, suggesting that the lavish, chaotic lifestyle of Hollywood parents is part of the problem.

She described an environment where luxury replaces discipline, and children, she argued, often get lost in the noise.

“And I think growing up in a Hollywood home, there’s really no structure because you have this thing going, and you’ve got private planes. And you’ve got all these giant homes with chefs and secretaries and assistants and, you know, housekeepers and nannies,” she said. “And there’s just too much of everything. It gets really confusing for a little person.”

She explained that fame and wealth often rob kids of boundaries and balance, crucial ingredients, she believes, for emotional stability and identity development.

“And it’s OK what you decide to be as an adult,” she continued. “But raise them just with good common sense. I mean, my daughters were tomboys. They preferred to wear pants than dresses, you know. And they loved sports. But I never said, ‘Oh, you’re a boy now.’ I just said, ‘You love to play sports, you love to hang out with boys, that’s awesome.’”

The full interview with Jennifer Flavin will air Monday on "The Katie Miller Podcast" at 6 p.m. ET.

As Jennifer Flavin stirs debate over Hollywood parenting, some other celebrity parents are taking a different approach, standing fiercely by their transgender and nonbinary children.

Stars like Robert De Niro, Marlon Wayans, and Gabrielle Union have all spoken publicly about embracing their kids’ gender identities, while Rosie O’Donnell went one step further by moving across the world to protect her child, Clay.

“Although I was never someone who thought I would move to another country, that’s what I decided would be the best for myself and my 12-year-old child,” O’Donnell said in a heartfelt TikTok video, explaining her choice to leave the United States for Ireland.

Now settled abroad, the comedian told Us Weekly that the transition has been smooth and full of kindness.

“There’s a great, great school there. And Clay has done very well. And they were really welcoming,” she shared. “And I love the little town, the little village. It’s in the heart of Dublin, but it’s still a village where you know the name of the grocer and you know the name of the cashiers. People are unbearably kind in a way that shocks me every single day.”

Despite the family’s fame, Stallone has always emphasized the importance of keeping his loved ones close and grounded.

Fans were stunned in August 2022 when Jennifer Flavin filed for divorce after 25 years of marriage to Stallone.

Yet, just a month later, the couple reunited, putting rumors to rest.

The actor, who previously admitted to cheating on Flavin before their marriage with model Janice Dickinson, opened up about his wake-up call.

“There was a reawakening of what was more valuable than anything, which is my love for my family," Stallone told The Sunday Times in 2022. “It takes precedence over my work and that was a hard lesson to learn.”
