Prince William is reportedly set to take a more ruthless approach to dealing with his disgraced uncle, Prince Andrew, when he's crowned King.

Andrew announced last week that he was giving up his royal titles amid an active investigation he tried to uncover information about his sexual assault accuser, Virginia Giuffre.

Reports suggest Prince William's estranged brother, Prince Harry, will also suffer the same fate as their uncle, which was understood to have left him "worried."

Prince William plans to ban his uncle, Prince Andrew, from his coronation and royal life once he ascends the throne.

The 65-year-old has tried the patience of the royal family for years, after coming under backlash for his ties to convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, as well as his links to suspected Chinese spy Yang Tengbo.

Despite his antics, he'd largely remained a part of the royal family and often joined in for events, as rumors suggest his brother, King Charles, has been using soft hands to deal with him.

However, it won't be like that during William's reign as the future King will completely ban him from all aspects of royal life, per The Sunday Times.

The reported ban is also expected to include Andrew's ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, who has remained close to the Prince and has also faced controversy over her own ties to Epstein. However, the reports stress that their daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, will remain involved in royal activities and family gatherings.

It comes after Andrew announced his decision to relinquish his royal titles and honor amid renewed interest in his ties to Epstein.

The decision was reportedly taken following due consultation with the royal family, including William and King Charles, as his continuous scandal understandably distracts from the work the royal family is doing.

"In discussion with The King, and my immediate and wider family, we have concluded the continued accusations about me distract from the work of His Majesty and the Royal Family," he said in the statement. "I have decided, as I always have, to put my duty to my family and country first. I stand by my decision five years ago to stand back from public life."

"With His Majesty's agreement, we feel I must now go a step further. I will therefore no longer use my title or the honours which have been conferred upon me," Andrew continued. "As I have said previously, I vigorously deny the accusations against me."

However, Andrew and Ferguson will continue to reside in their Royal Lodge on the Windsor Castle estate as the royal has a private tenancy agreement with The Crown Estate, which is not affected by issues relating to his titles.

It is widely rumored that William's estranged brother, Prince Harry, will suffer the same fate as their uncle when the Prince of Wales is crowned king.

Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, dropped their royal roles in 2020 and relocated abroad, where they currently live with their children, Archie and Lilibet.

Multiple sources say William will "remove princely titles from all non-working royals," and would also strip them of their honorific titles, per The Daily Beast.

Royals' "Prince" and "Princess" titles are protected by law, so William would have to fight tooth and nail to have them removed now. However, he's reportedly planning an executive royal order that'll undo it early in his reign.

Among those that'll seemingly be affected by the new decree are Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, Prince Harry, Prince Archie, and Princess Lilibet.

Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, would also see their Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles removed.

Meanwhile, William's children will have their titles "parked" until they're old enough to decide whether or not they want to be working royals.

Prince William Is Angry That His Disgraced Uncle Kept His Prince Title

William is angry that Andrew wasn't stripped of his Prince title after King Charles removed his Duke of York title.

"On Wednesday, the king's office was saying that removing the dukedom would be a completely lame and ineffectual gesture unless you took away the prince title as well," a source told TheDaily Beast.

"On Friday, it's suddenly the other way round, and persuading him to drop the duke title, without even taking it away, is being held up as a triumph of the king's steely will. His operation is a mess," the insider added.

The Duke of York is the traditional title for the ruling Royal's second son, and has a rich royal history behind it. For William to strip his uncle of his Prince title, he'll need an Act of Parliament.

A close source to William said, "It should have been done by Charles this week, but William knows he doesn't have the strength because of his illness. William is understanding of his father's situation. William won't be afraid to take the next step."
