Sydney Sweeney In Bridal Bikini Told She’s The ‘Main Course’

Actress Sydney Sweeney donned a pretty unusual look while promoting Frankie's Bikinis in 2023. The “Euphoria” star donned a white bikini along with a cross and a veil, leading some fans to question what the look was all about. Even though some fans questioned the advertisement, others were obsessed with her fit figure.

While promoting the swimwear brand in a 2023 ad, “The White Lotus” actress donned a white two-piece bathing suit along with knee-high white boots that had a tuft of fur on the ends. She paired the look with a pearl choker necklace and a smaller silver one that wrapped around her neck.

A cross also hung from her neck as she posed, placing her hands on her thighs. She wore elbow-length white lace gloves that matched the white veil that she placed over her head. Fans had mixed reactions to the photos, with some being confused by the bridal imagery in a swimwear ad.

While one fan called her “Mother Mary,” another follower said that she looked like a “Bride in 2050.” Another user said that she looked like the “Main Course that I want.”

“Who’s the photographer?” These pics are stunning,” another fan commented while another follower simply wrote, “Yes.” Another fan asked, “Why don’t I look like this?” while another user said that the photos made them believe in Greek mythology, comparing her to a goddess.

The 28-year-old actress may have experienced a flop at the box office earlier this year with “Americana,” but she is looking forward to the theatrical debut of her new movie, “Christy,” which hits theaters on November 7. In the movie, she plays the legendary professional boxer, Christy Martin.

“It taught me a lot about myself, actually, throughout the entire process,” she said in a clip posted on TikTok. "She taught me how to stand up for myself more and feel stronger in my personal life, my work life. We both fight our own fights in different types of rings and, yeah, check in on your friends and make sure they’re all okay."

During a post-screening Q&A at HIFF on October 4, Sydney said that Christy, now 57, was “very involved’ with the production and became close friends with the actress. "She kind of became my best friend. Having her with us was a really powerful experience," Sweeney said.

"I've never had the person who I'm portraying watch me. You're never really sure what they're thinking," she continued. "But as it went on, I just wanted her there the entire time because I was able to study her and listen to her and have her thoughts and opinions there whenever I needed."
