Angelina Jolie turned heads on the red carpet as she stunned in a dramatic backless gown at the premiere of her new movie "Couture."
The outfit showed off her extensive back tattoos, including one featuring a large tiger design. Her appearance at the event comes just days after she opened up about her decision to undergo a double mastectomy and have her ovaries removed.
At the time, Angelina Jolie cited genetic reasons and revealed that she doesn't regret making the decisions.
Angelina Jolie Chose A Black Ensemble For 'Couture' Premiere

Angelina Jolie's look at the premiere of her film "Couture" had all eyes on her as the actress showed off the many intricate back tattoos she has collected over the years.
The actress chose a black midi dress that kept things modest on the front but had a risque vibe at the back due to its unique caped attachment that had an oval-shaped cutout.
She added to the outfit with sheer stockings and matching heels that fully covered her feet. Jolie also appeared to wear minimal makeup while keeping her hair loose to cascade over her shoulders.

She further accessorized with some jeweled earrings and a ring on the middle finger of her right hand.
While walking the red carpet at Rome's Auditorium Parco Della Musica, Jolie was all smiles and even took a moment to wave to the cheering crowd.
She struck several poses for photographers, including one where she tucked her hands into what appeared to be the pockets of her outfit.
The Mother-Of-Six Recently Opened Up About Having A Double Mastectomy

Days ago, Jolie made a rare public comment about her personal life as she opened up about undergoing invasive surgery to prevent breast cancer.
In 2013, the actress had a double mastectomy and had her ovaries removed after discovering she carried the BRCA1 gene.
The gene is known to significantly increase the risk of developing breast and ovarian cancer, and having lost her mother to ovarian cancer, Jolie felt it was the right decision to take preventive action.
"I did choose to have that [surgery] because I lost my mother and my grandmother very young," she told Hello! Magazine.
Angelina Jolie Says She Doesn't 'Regret' Her Choices

The "Tomb Raider" star spoke more on the procedure, saying: "I have the BRCA gene, so I chose to have a double mastectomy a decade ago. And then I've also had my ovaries removed, because that's what took my mother."
With over a decade having passed since the surgery, Jolie still has no regrets about the decision she made.
"Those are my choices. I don't say everybody should do it that way, but it's important to have the choice. And I don't regret it," she further remarked.
Angelina Jolie Says Her New Movie Is 'Uniting' For Women

In her new movie, Jolie appears to relive parts of her own experience. However, her character, Maxine, is actually diagnosed with breast cancer and must navigate the emotional turmoil that comes with the condition.
According to the mother of six, she believes the film is "uniting" for women, as well as anyone going through a situation that has left them feeling hopeless.
"I think there's much to say about this, and it is uniting for not just women but for anybody who's gone through something, or someone who feels vulnerable and alone," Jolie said about "Couture."
She added, "There's something very particular to women's cancers, because it obviously affects us, and how we feel as women."
Angelina Jolie Called Her Divorce From Brad Pitt 'Emotionally Difficult'

Earlier in the month, Joolie also opened up about the emotional turmoil she suffered during her split from ex-husband Brad Pitt.
The revelation was detailed in documents obtained by Page Six, which were filed at the Los Angeles Superior Court in response to Pitt's request that she hand over private messages about their Miraval château dispute.
"The events leading to my need to separate from my ex-husband were emotionally difficult for me and our children," said Jolie about her split from her "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" co-star.
"Upon filing for divorce, I left him control (and full residency) of our family homes in Los Angeles and at Miraval, without compensation, which I hoped would make him calmer in his dealings with me after a difficult and traumatic period," she added.
