An unearthed video has captured legendary coach Bill Belichick and his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, privately criticizing staff members behind the scenes of one of his shows last year.

According to Pablo Torre on his "Pablo Torre Finds Out" podcast, the footage dates back to the start of the 2024 NFL season when Belichick, who hadn't yet joined UNC, was working on a project titled "Coach."

The series was meant to feature Belichick alongside Matt Patricia and Michael Lombardi breaking down major football matchups, but behind the cameras, tensions were evident.

In the leaked clip, Hudson is seen venting to Belichick about the show's production quality

, particularly its graphics and set design.

Frustrated, she questions how the team could employ "four full-time graphics people" and still struggle to deliver. Belichick, appearing equally unimpressed, muttered in response, "They can't do sh-t."

The two continued their quiet exchange, discussing who they could bring in to fix the show's issues before Belichick finally muttered, "The whole thing is ridiculous."

Torre reported that the private conversation was accidentally recorded through hot mics attached to the couple's clothing, and, embarrassingly, was "truly listened to live by an entire control room of people at NFL Films."

It's not the first time Belichick and Hudson have stirred attention on set. Earlier in May, Hudson interrupted Belichick's "CBS Mornings" interview with Tony Dokoupil, sparking headlines nationwide.

Following the viral moment, Belichick broke his silence, defending both the intent of the interview and his girlfriend's actions.

In a statement released on April 30 through the University of North Carolina, the 73-year-old coach explained that the interview meant to promote his new book, "The Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football," went off course when unrelated personal questions were raised.

"I agreed to speak with CBS's Sunday Morning to promote my new book, The Art of Winning — Lessons from My Life in Football. Before this interview, I clearly communicated with my publicist at Simon & Schuster that any promotional interviews I participated in would agree to focus solely on the contents of the book," Belichick wrote.

He continued: "Unfortunately, that expectation was not honored during the interview. I was surprised when unrelated topics were introduced, and I repeatedly expressed to the reporter, Tony Dokoupil, and the producers that I preferred to keep the conversation centered on the book."

"After this occurred several times, Jordon, with whom I share both a personal and professional relationship, stepped in to reiterate that point to help refocus the discussion," he added.

In a statement to People Magazine, CBS responded to Belichick's claim that parts of his "CBS Sunday Morning interview" were meant to be off-limits, denying that any such agreement existed.

The network stated that the conversation was always intended to be "wide-ranging," with "no preconditions or limitations," a point they claimed was "confirmed repeatedly with his publisher before the interview took place and after it was completed."

During the aired segment, when Hudson cut off a question about how she and Belichick met, Dokoupil smoothly pivoted, noting in a voiceover that it was "a topic neither one of them is comfortable commenting on."

When asked about the public attention surrounding his relationship, the UNC head coach remained composed, saying he had "never been too worried about what everyone else thinks" and prefers to do what feels right.

Meanwhile, it has been revealed that Belichick's planned Hulu docuseries with the University of North Carolina collapsed after creative differences.

According to People, an insider revealed that the university and Belichick's camp felt Hulu's focus leaned too heavily on the veteran's relationship with Hudson rather than the football program.

Although Belichick was open to giving fans rare access to his debut season at UNC, he and Hudson ultimately declined to sign appearance releases, which prompted the project's cancellation.

The working title had reportedly been "The Untitled Bill and Jordon Project."

For now, Belichick remains "laser-focused on the football team," a source tells the publication. While he and Hudson haven't ruled out doing a docuseries in the future, any plans are currently "on the back burner."

Another insider familiar with the situation said the series that began taking shape wasn't the show "originally pitched," and was not "up to standards," prompting both sides to part ways.

According to a source, Hulu had hoped for a "Keeping Up with the Belichick"-style angle, something Belichick never intended to deliver.
