Christine Brown's Son May Consider Joining North Carolina's National Guard

The TV star's 27-year-old son, Paedon, informed her of his plans to move to North Carolina, which is adjacent to where Janelle lives. Reacting to the news during a confessional, Christine explained that it actually hurt her to see that her only son preferred a life outside their home.

"Why does he need to move as well? It's hard that my kids don't want to live close to me, yeah, absolutely. What is it about North Carolina that has people moving there? It's insane," Christine queried.

Paedon had revealed to Christine that his relocation to North Carolina may result in his joining the National Guard. He was previously a part of the National Guard in Arizona before he quit.

Paedon Brown Cites The Loss Of Janelle Brown's Son As Another Reason For Leaving Arizona

The 27-year-old and Janelle's late son, who died by suicide nearly two years ago, were best of friends as confirmed by Christine in the confessional. Sadly, Paedon has not found it easy to move past the unfortunate incident to the point where he is willing to leave Arizona behind and start anew.

Christine Brown Left Her Marriage To Kody Brown Due To His Relationship With Their Kids

Three years ago, the TLC star explained on a podcast that one of the reasons why she separated from Kody was how he treated their children. She revealed how she spent dozens of years assuring and reassuring the kids that their dad loved them and wanted to spend time with them.

"I would tell my kids that all the time — that he's going to come over, we're going to have a great time, blah, blah, blah. And after a while, they just stopped believing me," Christine lamented in the story by PEOPLE.

Christine and Kody welcomed six children after she became his third wife via a spiritual marriage in 1994. Aspyn, their first daughter, came a year after their marriage in 1995, followed by Mykelti in 1996.

As shared by The Blast, at the beginning of the year, Kody expressed his thoughts about the state of his relationship with Aspyn, who claimed that he had a disdain towards her.

According to the father of 18, he felt the urgency to rectify such an impression by clarifying to his daughter that things were different with them. The Brown family patriarch insisted that his troubled relationship with Christine should never spill into his interactions with Asypn.

Kody blamed Christine for providing the fertile ground on which the misunderstanding between him and his daughter could thrive, although she knew better.

He then vowed to continue working to achieve the day when his children will view him as their ally and confidante, not as an enemy, as his mother had suggested.
