Kevin Federline Calls Out Sam Asghari For Marrying Britney Spears

In an interview with ET's Kevin Frazier, Federline issued a scathing response to the remarks of his fellow ex-husband, Asghari.

Asghari had called Federline a "professional father," as a subtle dig weeks ago, when asked by a paparazzo about his thoughts on Federline's upcoming memoir "You Thought You Knew."

Federline has now replied, saying he has no respect for the model and slammed him for getting involved with Spears despite being aware of her mental struggles.

"What kind of man gets himself in a situation like the one he got himself into with her?" Federline said during the interview with the media outlet.

Still on the issue, Federline also claimed that Asghari has no right to judge him and referenced his lack of fatherhood experience as the reason.

"You're judging me as a father, and you've never had kids. It doesn't matter what he says; it matters what my children say," Federline noted.

Unlike Asghari, who had no children with Spears during their brief marriage, Federline welcomed two sons with the singer, Preston and Jayden.

Following Spears' mental health challenges and the collapse of their marriage, the boys spent most of their formative years living with Federline.

Much of Federline's experience raising their kids is discussed in the upcoming memoir, including insights about their personalities as they come into adulthood.

"Preston is my thinker and deep feeler, a steady calm presence with a sharp creative mind and a love for music," Kevin noted in an excerpt of the book obtained by E! News.

In the same excerpt, Federline described his other son, Jayden, as a "firecracker, bold, expressive, and brimming with creative energy."

"As a kid, he'd roar like a dinosaur or mimic sound effects with uncanny precision, and now that charisma fuels his passion for music," Federline also noted.

In the memoir, Federline also details his sons' troubled relationship with their mother during their younger years.

He shared an instance of them allegedly waking up to seeing her holding a knife in their hands, an incident that left them terribly frightened and hesitant to return to Spears' home.

"They would awaken sometimes at night to find her standing silently in the doorway, watching them sleep — 'Oh, you're awake?' — with a knife in her hand," Federline alleged in the book about the pop star, per Page Six.

"Then she'd turn around and pad off without explanation," he added about the incident.

Elsewhere, in his memoir, Federline shared his thoughts about Spears' recent string of erratic behavior, saying she is "racing toward something irreversible."

"From where I sit, the clock is ticking, and we're getting close to the 11th hour," the DJ claimed.

He added, "Something bad is going to happen if things don't change, and my biggest fear is that our sons will be left holding the pieces."

Although the memoir will hit the shelves on October 21, excerpts circulating alongside Federline's promotional interviews have seemingly forced Spears to defend herself against the allegations in the book.

"The constant gaslighting from ex-husband is extremely hurtful and exhausting," she wrote on Instagram on October 15. "I have always pleaded and screamed to have a life with my boys. Relationships with teenage boys is complex."

She went on to condemn Federline's book  as filled with "white lies," for profit, and that she is the "only one who genuinely gets hurt here."

"I am actually a pretty intelligent woman who has been trying to live a sacred and private life the past 5 years. I speak on this because I have had enough, and any real woman would do the same," the "Stronger" crooner concluded.
