In a shocking turn of legal events, it was recently discovered that Paris Jackson has received a whopping sum of $65 million as benefits from her late father’s estate.
Paris had initially raised concerns about alleged bonuses and payouts made to executors of the estate. However, the executors pointed out that they deserve the pay for a job well done and added that the late music icon’s daughter herself has been a beneficiary of their sound legal judgment.
The executors also argued that they have helped Michael Jackson’s estate grow from being in debt to making over $3 billion.
Paris Jackson Raised Concerns About The ‘Lavish Gratuities’ Her Father’s Estate Executors Received

In July 2025, the 27-year-old filed a petition legally challenging the control executors had over Michael’s estate. She noted that the legal experts had received payments which “appear, at least in part, to consist of lavish gratuities bestowed upon already well-compensated counsel.”
Now, the estate executors responded by calling Paris’s claims “knowingly false,” insisting that they have done more good for the estate than harm.
As confirmed by People Magazine, a court document filed on October 14 also revealed that the model received a substantial payout due to the decisions made on behalf of the estate.
“Few have benefited more from the Executors’ business judgment than Petitioner herself, who has received roughly $65 million from the Estate in benefits. She would have never received that had the Executors followed a typical playbook for an estate like this one in July 2009,” the filing stated.
The estate executors further pleaded their case, stating that the late music icon’s estate was already in debt before they took over. However, after their “business judgment” was enforced, they turned it “into a $2 billion estate — an estate that is now a powerhouse and a force in the music business today.”
Furthermore, when Paris filed the petition in July, she claimed that the executors were being paid excessively for “uncaptured time.” According to the court documents obtained, she also mentioned that $625,000 was paid to three law firms with no proper explanation.
The executors fought back by pointing out that the bonuses were “not paid without consideration,” but were paid for the extraordinary services they rendered to the late singer's estate and the results they achieved.
Michel Jackson’s Estate Executors Claimed To Have Achieved Over $287 Million Return On EMI Investment

Still arguing why funds were not misappropriated, Michael’s estate executors brought up the estate’s EMI shares, which Sony purchased in 2018.
They claimed that the decision was hugely profitable, saying that they “were instrumental and critical in assisting and supporting the Executors in achieving unprecedented results for the Estate, including, without limitation, the more than $287 million return on the EMI investment."
Jonathan Steinsapir, the attorney for the Estate of Michael Jackson, further stressed that executors are “confident” that the payments were “appropriate as” and “approved by the Probate Court.”
The Executors Slammed Paris Jackson’s ‘Untimely’ Objections

While making an argument for themselves, the estate executors also argued that Paris’s objections were filed too late and, as such, should be dismissed by the court.
“No other objections have been filed. The untimely nature of the Objections should lead the Court to summarily overrule them,” the filing notes read, per The Blast.
The executors also revealed that they were prepared to provide a more detailed defense should the legal matter require an evidentiary hearing.
Michael Jackson’s Estate Accused Former Manager Of Extortion Plot

Before Michael’s estate executors slammed Paris’ objections on their control over the estate, they dragged Frank Cascio to court for allegedly being the mastermind behind a $213 million extortion attempt.
The estate alleged that Cascio, who had once been a trusted family confidant of the Jacksons, had collaborated with unnamed accomplices to put the scheme into motion.
According to The Blast, the plot sought to obtain hundreds of millions of dollars from Michael Jackson’s estate as hush money for not releasing defamatory accusations against Michael.
A spokesperson for the estate further claimed that Cascio was attempting to “profit by reversing his position and manufacturing claims he previously denounced as false.”
Paris Jackson Slammed ‘Dishonest’ Biopic About Late Michael Jackson

As the legal battle between Michael’s estate and Cascio continued, Paris sought to clarify her involvement with her late father’s biopic.
Coleman Domingo had previously showered praises on Paris for supporting the biopic, titled “Michael.” However, the “Scream” actress came forward to say she wasn’t part of the film because it attempted to portray her father in a dishonest light.
She shared that she read one of the first drafts and “gave my thoughts on what was dishonest/didn't sit right with me.” However, the filmmakers didn’t address her objections, and so, she “moved on” with her life, per The Blast.
