The 2025 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show Pushed Boundaries From The Opening

Victoria's Secret is showing the world that they are not typecasting this year!

The intimate apparel line, known for its distinctive category of models, is switching things up this year by embracing inclusivity and is now dominated by a diverse array of new faces.

Walking the Victoria's Secret runway this year includes Olympic gold medalist Suni Lee, 9 months pregnant Victoria's Secret Angel Jasmine Tookes, and WNBA star Angel Reese, who is the first pro athlete to walk the show.

Jasmine Tookes opened the 2025 Victoria's Secret fashion show on Wednesday, despite being 9 months pregnant with her second child.

The expectant mother modeled beautifully in a nude bodysuit beneath a beaded fishnet midi dress and a matching shell-shaped wire frame on her back, while rocking a pair of stiletto heels.

The 34-year-old had her hair styled with raven extensions, which were parted in the middle. The hair flowed down her shoulder,s hiding the straps of her outfit as she posed, showcasing her substantial baby bump. Her makeup was neat, with a focus on highlighting her natural beauty and bone structure.

Tookes is no stranger to the runway, having walked her first-ever Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in 2012, but she didn't officially earn her wings until 2015. She has reportedly been on every single show for the brand from 2012 to 2018, as well as its rebranded return in 2024.

The Daily Mail reports that in early September, the soon-to-be mother of two confirmed that she only had a couple more months to go before she welcomed her baby boy.

She also confessed that she thinks this time is a little difficult because she has a toddler, referring to her 2-year-old daughter Mia. However, this did not stop her from doing her duty and opening the fashion show this year.

On October 9, WNBA Star Angel Reese announced that she is joining the league of iconic Victoria's Secret models as an official "VS Angel" and brand ambassador. This partnership with the brand also meant that she would be making her runway debut at the Fashion show.

Reese, in an interview, described the feeling of receiving the news  as "a surreal and full-circle moment." She also recounted that she was in the audience last year, manifesting being on the runway while feeling inspired by the women she saw.

The Blast reports that the athlete is proud and excited for herself, as she has revealed that walking in the fashion show is another personal goal she can now say she has accomplished. She also hopes to use this opportunity to inspire other women to chase their goals outside their individual fields.

Children of famous screen stars made their grand appearances on the VS fashion show. Amelia Hamlin, who is the daughter of actors Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin, sauntered with two intense looks.

She flaunted her trim frame in a bold, crystal-encrusted lingerie, before switching to a red-hot, backless, metallic mini dress. The hot look gave a full view of her pert behind and the scarlet thong she was wearing with her back-length raven hair, which was styled straight.

Lila Moss, the daughter of supermodel Kate Moss, also stole the show in a grey long-sleeved leotard, showing off her legs as she strutted in hot pink heels and a pair of white socks. Lila sealed the look with a dark grey beanie hat, out of which her blonde hair flowed, and a silver belt.

Another Nepo baby who went all out was Iris Law, serving a naughty-ish look. The model was clad in a black crop top with matching bottoms and finished off with a pair of black leg warmers, a matching beanie hat, and chunky white boots.

Olympic gold medalist Suni Lee is appearing on the VS runway as an Angel this year. The news of Lee's participation in the show became public when the iconic VS brand announced her as the newest addition to the lineup of iconic angels at Steiner Studios in New York City.

The Blast reported that the post was captioned "it's official: Sunisa Lee is trading gold for PINK and walking the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show runway tonight. Get ready to watch her make her-story (again)."

Fans expressed excitement towards the news and flooded the comment sections, writing congratulations to her and sending kind words of praise.

Although many new faces graced the VS runway this year, some recognizable models were also present at the show, including Bella Hadid.

Bella comes back after withdrawing from public life for treatments related to health complications from what she attributes to the controversial diagnosis of chronic Lyme disease. She has also reportedly struggled with mental health issues in recent months.

The supermodel was joined on the show by her older sister, Gigi Hadid, who had her brunette hair parted to the side and swept back in a bun, and was clad in a bubblegum-pink top and high-waisted lace panties.

She completed the look with a sheer pink robe lined with pink flowers, while Bella wore a fiery crimson bra and lace thong.

Also featured were former Victoria's Secret Angels, including Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Doutzen Kroes, and Candice Swanepoel, as well as returning models such as Joan Smalls, Irina Shayk, Ashley Graham, and Anok Yai, among others.
