Martin Sheen has joined the growing list of A-listers speaking out against President Donald Trump in recent weeks.

Celebrities from Bill Nye to Brittany Cartwright have criticized the administration, targeting its handling of science and public health, to its spread of misinformation.

Now, Sheen is attributing many of Trump's actions to the influence of his inner circle, suggesting that those surrounding the president are feeding his ego rather than guiding him toward reason or compassion.

Martin Sheen Took A Dig At Donald Trump Alongside His Cabinet Members

Sheen, famously known for playing a fictional Democratic president on “The West Wing,” delivered some scathing opinions about Trump and his inner circle during a live recording of “The Best People podcast” with MSNBC's Nicolle Wallace.

The 85-year-old kicked off his lengthy tirade, emphasizing that the real struggle is not about winning or losing but about maintaining empathy — a quality he believes is lacking in the current administration.

He then shared his thoughts on those seated around the White House cabinet table, describing it as a room full of people who believe they're superior to everyone else and mirror their “worst selves.” He added that the atmosphere lacked joy or laughter, saying, “It smells of ego, fear, and false worship.”

Sheen turned his attention to the world leader, accusing him of losing touch with his humanity. “You've got to realize, sir, that you are the biggest nothing in the world,” Sheen blasted Trump. “Stop listening to all these people around you, these sycophants who are encouraging you to be your non-human self. Get in touch with that humanity!”

The “Blind Ambition” star’s harsh statement about Trump comes months after his son, Charlie Sheen, was compared to the Republican.

Charlie's "Two and A Half Men" co-star Jon Cryer compared him to Trump, saying they had more in common than people thought.

As The Blast reported, in April, Cryer recalled Sheen's behavior while they worked together, saying Sheen's struggles with addiction made him unreliable and self-absorbed. Cryer then drew similarities, suggesting Trump has a similar kind of “addiction,” not to substance, but to attention and the need to feel important.

Cryer explained that while both Sheen and Trump are known for making outrageous statements, the difference is in how people perceive them. He, however, claimed that Sheen would have been a “better president than Trump.”

Martin Sheen isn't the only critical voice about the Trump administration. Last week, science educator Bill Nye also aimed at the administration a few days earlier, accusing it of rejecting scientific progress.

Per The Blast, Nye lamented that the country’s leadership rests on an administration that has lost its way and refuses to accept scientific realities.

He warned that denying scientific facts isn't just ignorant; it has consequences that could cause the country to lose relevance internationally.

Nye emphasized that science is a long-established, essential process that must be respected to create real progress. He vowed to participate in the next U.S. election, viewing it as a pivotal moment for the country's future.

Nye's criticism of the commander-in-chief's approach to science comes after Trump sparked controversy by claiming that Tylenol is linked to autism in children. The businessman went so far as to urge people to avoid the medication entirely.

His remarks were, however, not received well by Cartwright, who took to social media to enlighten the president about the drug and the medical condition. She reminded the public that autism existed long before Tylenol was created and noted that many autistic children were never exposed to vaccines or the drug.

She further condemned the government for spreading false information. “Our children are wonderful and deserve better than misinformation by our own government,” Cartwright wrote.
