Meghan Markle Continues To Turn Heads With Chanel Fashion Statement For NYC Date Night

Meghan Markle is not tired of making fashion statements after taking Paris by storm and now turning heads in the Big Apple.

The Duchess of Sussex was spotted in a dress she had previously worn but still caught eyes as she walked out of a New York hotspot with her husband, Prince Harry.

Meghan Markle is no stranger to fashion, having developed a history dating back to her acting days. She recently attended Paris Fashion Week, where she made yet another fashion statement.

Meghan was spotted in New York City on Sunday evening with her husband on a date night. The pair went to the NYC members-only hot spot Chez Margaux for a lovely evening out and were captured in photos on their way out.

The former actress was clad in beautiful attire, and the choice of fabric for her dress was indicative of the season, Fall.

The Tweed black and white strappless midi dress, designed by Chanel, which she accessorized simply with a matching black satin Giorgio Armani bag and a pair of black spandex pointed toe pumps, sealed the look. 

Meghan did not have any necklace on, and the dress accentuated her collarbone. The only jewelry she wore was a pair of diamond drop earrings from Maya Brenner, which Prince Harry had given her the previous year for Valentine's Day, and a single gold bangle on her left wrist.

According to Page Six, Meghan's outfit is not new, as she wore it during a photoshoot she did for The Cut in 2022; still, she made heads turn with the iconic look yet again.

While Meghan is often photographed for her classic and timeless wardrobe choices, she has tended to shy away from high fashion looks in the past, as she enjoys subtle yet beautiful appearances.

Before her royal life, during her years as an actress, she regularly attended Fashion Weeks, notably the ones in Toronto and New York.

Upon stepping down from her royal roles with her husband, she continued to define styles, although she remained absent from the fashion week stage until her recent appearance in Paris.

Meghan continues to balance her luxury choices with her status. She has spotlighted brands like the sustainable Australian label Outland Denim, and her influence still drives sell-outs of pieces from labels such as La Ligne and Cesta Collective.

The "Suits" actress attended the Balenciaga show, marking her first-ever appearance at Paris Fashion Week. She looked stunning at the event, dazzling royal fans with her presence.

The Blast shared details of her appearance, describing it as a sleek, monochrome look, which she complemented with an oversized white cape over a crisp button-down, and black pointed stilettos for her feet.

Meghan wore her hair in a sleek, back bun, highlighting her flawless face with the minimal makeup she had on. She allegedly attended the show in support of new Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli, with whom she shares a long design history.

In an interview, Creative Director Piccioli clears the air about the Duchess of Sussex's grand appearance at Paris Fashion Week. Piccioli stated that rather than receiving a formal invitation, Meghan reached out to him, asking to attend the show.

Thus, contrary to public assumptions, her headline-making appearance was not grandly orchestrated. The designer also admitted that her request came to him as a pleasant surprise, and so he played along, keeping her appearance a secret from everyone.

"I didn't tell anyone she was coming because I wanted it to stay a surprise," he explained. "In fashion, real surprises are rare, and this one was beautiful," he said after explaining that the dynamics of their friendship were casual as they exchanged messages over the years.

The power couple turned heads with their sophisticated looks on the red carpet at the "Project Healthy Minds" World Mental Health Day Gala, clad in matching black suits.

As reported by The Blast, the recognition celebrated their work through the Archewell Foundation, whose mission is to create a safer digital space for young people and families.

Their outfits complemented each other as Prince Harry was dressed in a black suit, white shirt, and black tie, while Meghan wore an all-black suit featuring a deep-cut blazer with a matching black clutch purse, stud earrings, a gold chain, and had her hair in a ponytail.
