The Sussexes continue to be embroiled in drama, as a source claims Prince Harry disliked the public's reaction to his wife's video in Paris.

Meghan Markle went viral for her debut at this year's Paris Fashion Week, not for her fashionable choices, but for what some perceived as a lack of respect. She was slammed and harshly criticized for driving too close to where Princess Diana died.

The late Princess of Wales took her final breath in August 1997. She died in a tragic car crash in the Pont de l'Alma tunnel in Paris while her driver was fleeing from the paparazzi.

Although the Sussexes are yet to address the criticisms surrounding Meghan's Paris video, a source close to the couple has revealed Prince Harry's reaction to the controversy. They claimed he could not tolerate people using his late mother's name to hurt his wife, saying:

"Harry was left hurt and upset. Diana's death was used as a stick to beat his wife with. [Meghan] did not even pass close to the tunnel."

"The whole thing is a joke, but not a very funny one for Harry," the source told The Daily Mail. They explained that the worst part of the situation was that Harry "wasn't even that surprised," instead, he was more despondent than shocked by the public's harsh reaction.

Regarding Meghan's reaction to the controversy, the source claimed she was disappointed by how the toxicity marred her debut at Paris Fashion Week. They alleged that the criticisms "went down like a sack of cold sick" for the Duchess of Sussex.

A separate source attempted to defend Meghan's video by arguing that, unlike the late Princess of Wales, she had been wearing her seat belt in the controversial video. They added that Meghan didn't even know where the car was driving through.

According to the second source, Meghan was focused on preparing an Instagram reel capturing her time in Paris rather than noting the limo's progress to Hotel Plaza Athenee.

Meghan dropped the controversial video last week, leading to a days-long backlash that had many gunning for her head. The Blast covered the criticisms she received, reporting that fans and royal experts were highly disappointed by her behavior.

Some critics criticized Meghan for being uninformed about her location when she shared the post, while others believed she deliberately chose not to include the video. Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams slammed the post as "insensitive beyond belief."

Fitzwilliams could not understand Meghan's train of thought, wondering what could have motivated her to share such an "utterly bewildering" video. He stressed that she had every right to attend a fashion show, but making a video connected to Diana's tragic death was profoundly disrespectful.

The Paris incident marked one of the many times Meghan has faced criticism for her actions. Last month, The Blast shared that PR expert Ryan McCormick advised the entrepreneur to pay closer attention to her image following her appearance at the One805LIVE! Charity event.

The event, hosted by actor Kevin Costner, saw the Duchess of Sussex rocking a luxurious dress and accessories, including Princess Diana's Cartier Tank Française watch and a $7,000 Cartier Love bracelet. McCormick warned that such high-end brands did not match her "one of us" image.

"Meghan may desire to connect with everyday people, but if so, she has to be fully committed," the PR expert said. He explained that her decision to adorn herself in luxuries showcased her upper-class status rather than the relatable image she keeps trying to embody.
