Khloé Kardashian Continues Quest To Bring Brother Back To The Spotlight With Bizarre Text Exchange

Khloé Kardashian is keeping up with her pursuit to bring her brother, Rob Kardashian, back to the limelight.

She recently shared a screenshot of a rather unusual text exchange they had in a post, which included pictures of her, her kids, and her cat. Rob has openly discussed with Khloé how he feels about being in front of cameras, expressing that he finds it uncomfortable.

Other members of the Kardashian/Jenner clan want Rob Kardashian to step back into the spotlight, and Khloé Kardashian is trying to make it happen, starting with baby steps, such as engaging him with her online audience.

On Sunday, Rob made an appearance on Khloé's socials via a screenshot of their texts. The image was posted last in a slideshow that featured photos of Khloé, a cat, and her kids, Tatum and True. 

Rob, whose contact was saved as Rob "My A1 from Day 1," sent a text to his sister saying he had LASIK (Laser-Assisted In Situ Keratomileusis). In concern, Khloé responded that she was not aware and asked if it was painful, to which Rob answered, "Yeah, it's all good."

According to the Cleveland Clinic, LASIK is a laser-assisted surgical procedure used to correct visual refractive errors. If Rob really had it, he would not typically be able to see for hours and would have to rest with his eyes closed.

This prompted  Khloé to think and ask Rob how he could text her. He then replied, "Well, I got it on my d-ck. So that's why," hinting it was a joke. Fans reacted to the Instagram post with a handful of laughing emojis, finding it hilarious.

Their mom, Kris Jenner, commented, "I'm crying laughing" with a laughing emoji. Other commenters typed that Rob was just being silly, lol, and teasingly asked if everything was ok down there.

The Kardashian brother has admitted that ever since his weight increased to 240lbs in 2013 with the type 2 diabetes diagnosis and hospitalization he faced in 2015, he has not felt comfortable in his own skin.

Speaking to his sister on an episode of her podcast, Khloé in Wonder Land, he disclosed that he does not want to be vulnerable and let people in by being on camera.

He added that his decision to be off camera does not imply that he has any problems with his family; rather, he wants to prioritize his own peace and happiness.

"I choose my own happiness and peace over just filming for somebody who doesn't do anything for me in my personal life," he said, and explained that he is a homebody who just wants a peaceful and happy life.

After staying under the radar for years, Rob reportedly broke his low-key social media status by leaving a comment under one of Khloé's posts in 2022. As previously reported by The Blast, the entrepreneur has found his immediate elder sister to be a confidante and friend.

Reports also show that Rob is often found at Khloé's house with his daughter, spending quality time with her cousins. Insiders also claim that he rarely hangs out with his other siblings.

Khloé seems to be the one who makes Rob feel comfortable enough to come out of his shell and make some form of online appearance.

However, Rob made a cameo in the seventh-season trailer of his famous family's Hulu reality show, "The Kardashians", marking the first time he has been seen on the show in eight years.

Kris Jenner's dream has been for Rob to come back to the spotlight. Reports show that the momager has urged her son to give up the introverted lifestyle. Reportedly, Kris feels that the family's show could benefit from Rob's help in gaining visibility and bringing a sense of nostalgia to the show.

She claims that being back on camera would help his state of mind, noting that he would be amazed by how much he is longed to be seen by fans. Allegedly, Kris never imagined that her only son would shut himself out of the world of reality TV.

Kris is not a fan of the solitary lifestyle he exhibits; an insider describes this as the biggest heartbreak of her life, and she wants him to stop hiding and return to the family show. 

The Blast revealed speculations that the Kardashian's son may have agrophobia, which is the fear of being in public spaces or a situation that might be difficult to escape.

Rob's detachment from a social lifestyle might be a result of the negative publicity he received from being on his family's reality TV show.

Although Rob spends most of his time with his sister, either at his house or hers, with their kids, reports reveal that whenever Khloé tries to take the kids out, Rob refuses to tag along, implying that he might be scared of being photographed or spotted in public.
