During a singing event that Darby was hosting at Mr. Henry's in the nation's capital, the "Real Housewives of Potomac" OG addressed the surprising arrest of her co-stars.
"We're making melodies, not felonies, if you know what I mean," the mother of two joked with the audience, sparking laughter amongst the crowd.
And Darby didn't stop there. The reality star, known for bringing the drama on the DC-based reality series, continued, "I'm just throwing it out there. In case there's any confusion, that's what we're doing around here. That's all I'm doing here. Just making melodies."

According to a previous report from The Blast, Wendy and her husband, Eddie, were taken into custody during the late hours of October 9. The pair face a combined 33 charges, several of which are felony offenses.
Wendy and Eddie are accused by law enforcement of reporting a false burglary in April 2024, during which they allegedly told officers that their bedroom had been ransacked while they were on vacation and that several high-value items had been stolen, including shoes, handbags, and jewelry, such as Wendy's wedding ring.
During the investigation, law enforcement officers learned that Wendy allegedly posted photos of herself wearing the ring she allegedly claimed was stolen, prompting them to dig even further. Later, investigators discovered that many of the items the couple reportedly claimed were stolen had already been returned to the store, "where a full refund was provided prior to the alleged burglary."
During her event in DC, Darby told the audience that Wendy and Eddie's arrest wasn't surprising for the "RHOP" cast. "This is just news to y'all," she said. "Zen Wen is in the pen."
Wendy And Eddie Allegedly Signed Off On False Documents

Another report from The Blast details more of Wendy and Eddie's alleged scheme. According to legal documents, Eddie filed three separate claims with different insurance companies.
However, he failed to inform two of the companies that he had already received a $25,000 payout, specifically from Travelers Insurance, for some of the items he was reporting stolen to them.
The court documents also reveal that Wendy and Eddie reportedly signed documents claiming $2,500 in building damage and $450,000 in property loss.
During the investigation, law enforcement also obtained one of Eddie's emails, in which he allegedly asked Wendy to identify other "high-value items we can add to this inventory list (i.e., Chanel shoes, etc.)" in order to "exceed $423,000, which is our policy maximum."
Wendy Osefo Dragged For Allegedly Lying About Burglary In Previous Interview

Following Wendy and Eddie's arrest, loyal Bravo fans began searching for more information about the alleged burglary from April 2024. During their search, they stumbled across a previous interview Wendy did with Gibson Johns from the "Gabbing with Gib" podcast.
During their conversation, Wendy called the alleged burglary "heartbreaking" before saying she and the investigators believe it was a "targeted" attack, as there has been no reported crime in her Finksburg, Maryland, neighborhood in its 20 years of existence.
Wendy also mentioned her three children, Karter, Kruz, and Kamrynn, saying "motherhood" keeps her centered, so knowing they could've been harmed was saddening for her.
"Where I live is for their safety, for them to have ample acres to run, play, enjoy, free of anything," Wendy said. "When someone comes into your home, which is such a sacred space, and violates you in such a way, you start questioning things."
In the comment section, fans roasted Wendy while also expressing their disappointment in the former political commentator.
"No robberies in 20 years, and you falsify the first???" someone posted.
"Wendy??? We expected so much more," a second user wrote, prompting another to add, "She looks like she's lying."
