TMZ reported that police officers were investigating a burglary that the Osefos claimed happened in April 2024.

The couple allegedly told officers that many of the reality star's designer bags and fancy jewelry pieces had been stolen. However, officers said they later saw Wendy wearing some of the jewelry she allegedly reported stolen in posts on social media.

The investigation reportedly found that many of the items Wendy allegedly claimed were stolen had been bought and later returned to the store, "where a full refund was provided prior to the alleged burglary."

Candiace Dillard Bassett Reacts To Wendy And Eddie's Arrest

Wendy's former co-star, Candiace Dillard Bassett, reacted to the news on Fox 5 DC, expressing genuine concern over their arrest and hinting that there may be more to the story.

Bassett stated that she believes Huger was sentenced to time behind bars to set an example for others and wondered if the same was happening to Wendy and Eddie.

The former "RHOP" star spoke highly of Wendy and Eddie's business, praising them for providing jobs and resources to people of color in the DMV area.

"My first thought is, 'Are they being targeted? Is this something we should be thinking about?'" she said.

Bassett went on, "I'm heartbroken. I have chills, I'm shaking. I can't imagine."

"Potomac" viewers also reacted to the Osefos' arrest on X, formerly Twitter, with one writing, "The bad news is their reputation is ruined. The good news is we are gonna eat good next season of RHOP."

Another user posted, "Another one bites the dust. The 'Real Housewives' to jail/prison pipeline needs to be studied!"

A third user also condemned the Osefos, stating, "They have not learned. The feds watch this show. Ever since Teresa and her husband got arrested seems like they would know the feds are watching. Spending money like they making it in the basement."

This is a developing story...
