McKinley Richardson is revealing more disturbing details about her relationship with YouTuber Jack Doherty, opening up about what she calls the “emotional unraveling” of her time with him, marked by manipulation, humiliation, and control. During a powerful appearance on her close friend Camilla Araujo's podcast, Richardson described years of body-shaming, psychological isolation, and fear, painting a harrowing picture of a relationship that looked glamorous online but left her “broken” behind the scenes.

McKinley Richardson Claims Jack Doherty Found It 'Sexy' When She Cried

Richardson said the emotional manipulation began subtly and escalated over time. She recalled moments when she cried during arguments, only for Doherty to respond in ways that made her feel even more dehumanized. “He found it very attractive,” she told Araujo. “I would start crying in certain situations, and he’d say how beautiful and hot I am when I cry. That it’s sexy. But I didn’t feel sexy. I felt humiliated, especially when it was something he caused.”

According to Richardson, Doherty’s behavior became more twisted as he allegedly began seeking emotional reactions for the sake of content. “It’s like he was trying to get that out of me,” she said. “Every waking moment was filmed. I stopped knowing what was real.”

Richardson Says Jack Doherty Turned Her Humiliation Into 'Content'

Richardson says her pain often became part of Doherty’s entertainment. She alleged that he would flirt with women in front of her, invite girls to twerk on him, and even buy club signs mocking her name, all for “content.”

“He’d make me look stupid in front of people,” she said. “He’d say, ‘It’s different off camera,’ but so much of it was filmed. So how much was ever real?”

The influencer described feeling emotionally drained and anxious as the lines between their real life and online life blurred. “Every day was content,” she said. “Every waking moment was a performance. It broke me down completely.”

McKinley Richardson Says Jack Doherty Body-Shamed Her

The emotional abuse, Richardson said, extended to her appearance. “He would just say how ugly and skinny my body was, and how he wished I looked how I used to,” she revealed. “He’d show me old pictures of myself and say, ‘I want you here.’”

According to Richardson, Doherty frequently criticized her body and pushed her to undergo plastic surgery. “He wanted me to get a boob job so bad,” she said. “He’d tell me, ‘I wouldn’t have to look at other girls on the Explore page if you just got big boobs.’”

Those comments, she explained, shattered her confidence. “I thought I was the ugliest thing to ever walk the earth,” she said. “I compared myself to every girl around him, every girl online.”

Richardson Claims Jack Doherty Isolated Her From Friends And Family

Richardson says Doherty didn’t just erode her self-worth, but he also isolated her from friends and family, controlling who she spoke to and when. “I couldn’t confide in anyone,” she said. “Everyone around me was paid by him, and I knew anything I said would get back to him.”

Even her closest friend noted that Doherty intentionally drove a wedge between them. “He would put things in her head about me being a bad influence,” the friend shared. “He didn’t like people he couldn’t control.”

Richardson said she also stopped talking openly with her parents. “I love them more than anything, but I couldn’t tell them how bad things were,” she said. “They were confused about why I wasn’t coming home.” Every time she said she wanted to leave, Richardson claimed, Doherty would threaten to cheat on her if she did. “He told me, ‘If you leave, I’ll just cheat on you,’” she said. “And it worked. I stayed because I was scared.”

McKinley Richardson Opens Up About Financial Control And Emotional Manipulation

Over time, Richardson says Doherty’s control became financial as well, especially after she joined OnlyFans under his management. “He had all the power. Emotionally, financially, and professionally,” she said.

She described feeling trapped in the relationship, terrified of losing everything she had built. “I thought, if I leave, I lose my friends, my job, my life,” she said. “He made me believe I was replaceable.”

Richardson added that Doherty’s comments about wishing he’d met her “later in life," when he could be “out with a new girl every day," deepened her insecurities. “He told me I held him back,” she recalled. “That he loved me, but he could’ve had more fun without me.”

By the end, Richardson says she barely recognized herself, emotionally drained, weighing just 103 pounds, and completely dependent on Doherty’s approval. “I wasn’t eating, I wasn’t sleeping, I was just existing,” she said. “He made me believe I needed him to survive.”

Richardson Adds To Growing Allegations Against Jack Doherty

Richardson’s account adds to a growing list of troubling claims surrounding Doherty, including allegations of manipulation, substance misuse, and domestic violence. The emotional abuse she describes highlights a pattern of control that, she says, went far beyond the cameras.

“I thought I was living a dream,” she said softly. “But I was really living in his.”
