Shocking details have emerged of an alleged establishment "plot" to bring Prince Harry and Meghan Markle back into the royal family.
According to a royal expert, Richard Eden, the plot is being backed by some senior politicians and courtiers and will undermine Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Eden also claimed that Meghan Markle's recent visit to Europe was part of the plan, and that the former actress would return to Britain later this year.
Royal Insider Claims The Plan To Bring Back The Sussexes Is Called 'Project Thaw'

The Daily Mail's Richard Eden has revealed details about an alleged plot by "the establishment" to bring back Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The two have been estranged from the palace since stepping down from their royal roles in 2020, when they moved to America and made bombshell revelations about the royal family through interviews, a documentary, and a memoir.
However, Eden now believes that moves are already being made to bring the couple back, tying Meghan's recent visit to Paris for Fashion Week to the plan, which he claims is known as "Project Thaw."
According to the royal writer, the plan is being backed by some senior politicians and courtiers with the aim of warming up the Sussexes' cold relationship with other royal family members and the British public.
He also cited Meghan being seen smiling with several high-profile figures at Fashion Week, including Vogue supremo Dame Anna Wintour, as a clear indicator of the alleged "thaw" process.
'Project Thaw' Will Build On The Perceived Success Of Harry's Recent Visit To His Father

Last month, Harry had a face-to-face meeting with his father, King Charles, which marked their first in 19 months.
Shortly after the meeting, sources claimed it took place because their rift needed to be addressed, and that it turned out to be quite an emotional affair for the duo, who even shared a long hug when they first saw each other.
Of the visit, Eden believes that "Project Thaw" will build on its perceived success, which implies how much impact the visit had in rekindling the lost spark between the father and son duo.
The Duke's Recent Ukraine Trip Was Also Part Of The Alleged Plot

The royal expert noted how Harry visited the war-torn capital of Ukraine, Kyiv, shortly after seeing his father, King Charles, and met with the newly appointed Foreign Secretary, Yvette Cooper.
Cooper, Eden claimed, is among the establishment figures who admire the Duke of Sussex and want him to play a bigger part in public life.
However, this would seemingly be only possible if Harry fully reconciles with the royal family and makes a comeback as a working royal.
Prince Harry And Meghan Markle May Make A Joint Visit To The UK Before The Year's End

While in Kyiv, Harry sat with The Guardian and made the shocking declaration that "the focus really has to be on my dad" in the coming year."
For him, that seemed to mean making more trips across the pond, which may include Meghan and their children — Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four.
At the time, Harry didn't reveal when such a trip would take place. However, Eden's source hinted it could be later this year, and also claimed that Meghan will have no airs about her if she joins, as she too seems keen on reconciling.
"Meghan will return to Britain before the year is out," the source told Eden, adding jokingly that she will be "bearing humble pie."
'Project Thaw' Will Allegedly Undermine Prince William And Kate Middleton

For some quarters opposed to Harry and Meghan's return, "Project Thaw," they believe, will undermine the heir apparent, Prince William, and his wife, Kate Middleton.
With the end goal seemingly being for Harry and Meghan to win their way back in through King Charles, there is currently a notion that William won't get the apology he deserves for all the hurtful remarks his brother has made.
Those following the situation now feel it's time for the King to draw a line and make it clear to Harry that reconciliation will only be genuinely possible if he issues an apology to William.
However, such an apology seems unlikely as Harry has indicated in a past interview that he has no intention of apologizing for his past comments and that his "conscience is clear."
It remains to be seen how the situation between the brothers will pan out in the long run, especially if "Project Thaw" does pave the way for the return of Harry and Meghan.
