Farrah Abraham's daughter, Sophia, enlisted the help of her famous mom to announce that she had gotten her first tattoo.
However, fans were infuriated, with some slamming the reality TV star for her parenting style, as one critic said she's "more of a friend than mom" to the teenager.
Farrah Abraham has faced criticism for the same reason in the past, particularly when Sophia received multiple facial and lip piercings.

Abraham's daughter, Sophia, got her first tattoo and couldn't help but share the news with fans. The 16-year-old influencer shared an Instagram video on Wednesday where she unveiled a drawing of 3 massive bats on either side of her stomach.
The clip, which also featured her famous mom, saw Sophia tease Abraham by holding her stomach. "I have a surprise for you guys," the text above the video read as the teenager feigned an anxious look.
Someone was heard screaming "Oh my God!" with Abraham also joining in, as if she was surprised and worried her daughter might be pregnant.
However, Sophia lifted her top to unveil the drawing as the words "I got my first tattoo!!" flashed across the screen.
Abraham then leaned forward to take a good look at the new tattoo, but appeared to be relieved that her daughter wasn't pregnant.
Fans Blast The Reality TV Star For Allowing Her Daughter To Get Inked

The mother and daughter first found fame on MTV's "16 and Pregnant" when Abraham was pregnant with Sophia at the age of 16.
Going by her reaction, it appears she doesn't want to become a grandmother, at least not now, when she's 34.
However, Internet users seem quite angry at her and the way she's raising Sophia.
An Instagram user said, "I love supportive parents, but at this point, this is just too passive. Some of you act like getting tattoos really young, with or without your parents' permission, is a flex, and it's really not. Sometimes parents can just say 'no."
Another user added, "At that age is too young, no matter if the parent approves it. Rules need to be set……maybe I'm old school, but that's how I think."
"Girl... Be her mother, not her friend," a third user penned, while another said "there's a limit" to it all, telling Abraham to "stop trying to be your kids' best friend and start acting like a parent."
One more critic asked, "This is so heartbreaking. Why doesn't Mom understand her daughter is screaming for help?"
However, many other fans were supportive of the kind of relationship she shares with her daughter.
Farrah Abraham Previously Gifted Her Daughter Multiple Piercings On Her 14th Birthday

Abraham faced harsh comments on her parenting style in the past after she gifted Sophia multiple facial piercings for her 14th birthday.
At the time, the model shared a video on Instagram where she treated her daughter to a "piercing party," allowing her to get snakebite lip piercings as well as ear piercings for the occasion.
"Six piercings later … you match your snake," the former reality star captioned the clip, per Page Six, before joking, "Can you even eat your cake?"
However, she came under fire for it at the time, with many arguing that her then-14-year-old daughter was too young for piercings.
The Reality TV Star Called Out 'Parent Shamers'

Abraham hit back at people who criticized her for giving her daughter piercings, saying she used to be a "parent shamer" in the past but had become more accepting.
"Parent Shamers, I will always have a door open for you, as I was once like you, I know what I'm not for, and I know teens need a lot of compassion right now," she captioned the post, before adding that teenagers face more serious issues like alcohol use and underage sex.
"Allowing them to drink (her dad died in a fatal car accident due to underage drinking), having sex yet doesn't even have a bank card / or line of credit ( I didn't know the world, my health, nor the accountability & under age sex shaming), experiment with life killing drugs ( how many teens have we seen dead due to fentanyl)," she went on.
Abraham added, "Right now, Sophia is learning well-being, self-love, mental health, sex Ed, drug education, ADA-compliant education, before actions go beyond her learning. So she is prepared for all that life brings her way."
Farrah Abraham Brags About 'Making Millions' On OnlyFans

After leaving the world of reality TV, Abraham has remained in the spotlight by transitioning into other creative spots, including the adult entertainment industry and comedy, where she has since launched her stand-up comedy show, "Diary of a Teen Mom."
Earlier this year, the former MTV personality also bragged about how she's "making millions" by posting content on OnlyFans.
"I know the tips and tricks to OnlyFans. Again, I haven't come out of my house for, like, five years. I am plenty busy on OnlyFans," she said.
"I am making millions of dollars [on] OnlyFans," she continued. "I do business like anyone else does business, but I'm very good at that."
