Taylor Swift has seen her fair share of drama, but even she didn’t expect her Beverly Hills home to be turned into a reptile rescue zone.
The superstar recently opened up about a bizarre incident involving her close friend Zoë Kravitz and Kravitz’s pet Burmese python that went missing in her bathroom.
What followed was a mix of panic, chaos, and broken furniture, all of which Swift somehow handled with grace and humor.
Taylor Swift’s Calm Response To The Snake Chaos
During her appearance on “Late Night with Seth Meyers” on October 8, Taylor Swift recalled the unforgettable moment she learned that a massive python had gone missing inside her home.
“I just remember getting a call from my head of security and him trying to explain this story to me,” the singer said with a laugh, per PEOPLE. “My first question was, ‘What snake?’ I didn’t even know there was a snake in my house.”
Swift explained that the whole thing started when Kravitz and her mom, Lisa Bonet, stayed at her Beverly Hills home during the Los Angeles fires.
What was meant to be a kind gesture quickly turned into chaos when Kravitz’s pet snake slithered into a small hole in Swift’s bathroom and disappeared.
“There’s splinters on the floor. They’re looking — in my mind, this is an Annie Leibovitz shoot,” the star joked. “This is the chicest thing I’ve ever heard in my life. Not a problem.”

Kravitz first told the hilarious story on “Late Night with Seth Meyers” back in August.
The “Big Little Lies” star admitted that she and her mom had to “rip up the tile” and “scratch the walls” to find the missing python, completely destroying Taylor Swift’s bathroom in the process.
“We completely destroyed Taylor’s bathroom,” Kravitz said with a guilty laugh.
Swift later confirmed that part of the story, revealing that the chaos even involved an ax.
“Zoe Kravitz and Lisa Bonet are holding on to a Burmese python. It’s halfway in the wall. There’s a man standing with an ax, who has just chopped up a custom vintage antique cupboard,” the Grammy Award winner said, painting the scene like a movie moment.
Still, instead of being upset, Swift handled the situation with total understanding.
“I can’t even be mad,” she told Meyers, adding that the story “just sounded incredible.”
Taylor Swift Waited Three Weeks For A Confession

What made the story even funnier was Swift’s patience.
The “Fate of Ophelia” crooner said she played a “little game” in her head to see how long it would take Kravitz to confess to the bathroom destruction.
“Three weeks,” she said, laughing. “Exactly the amount of time it took to fix the damaged cupboard.”
When Kravitz finally brought it up, Swift told her not to worry.
“Dude, I’ve been laughing about this for three weeks,” she told her.
It was a true “forgiving friend” moment, one that reminded fans how genuine and kind the pop star really is, even in the face of unexpected home disasters.

Aside from the wild snake drama, Taylor Swift appeared on “Late Night with Seth Meyers” to promote her new album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” which dropped on October 3.
The singer looked radiant as she discussed the new record, which she described as “an album that just feels so right.”
“I can’t tell you how proud I am to share this with you,” Swift wrote on Instagram after the release. “A forever thank you goes out to my mentors and friends Max Martin and Shellback for helping me paint this self-portrait.”
Host Meyers celebrated the pop star’s return by posting a fun video ahead of her appearance, showing himself wearing an orange cardigan from her merch line while sipping from a light blue mug.
The caption cheekily read, “Sipping coffee like you’re on a late night show,” referencing lyrics from her fan-favorite hit “All Too Well (10 Minute Version).”
Taylor Swift Talks About Her Raunchiest Song

Swift’s recent interview comes shortly after she opened up about her song “Wood,” which she says is her most daring song ever.
As The Blast reported, the track, celebrating her fiancé Travis Kelce’s manhood, started out as a fun tune about “knocking on wood” for good luck, but it quickly turned into something much more flirty.
The 35-year-old laughed while explaining that the song “started off very innocent” before becoming a playful and spicy love song.
The lyrics describe Kelce with cheeky lines, calling him a “redwood tree” and hinting at their passion.
Fans say it is her boldest work yet, filled with clever double meanings.
Meanwhile, Swift revealed her mom still thinks the song is just about superstitions, which makes her laugh.
