Could Sydney Sweeney be the next Bond Girl? Hollywood insiders and fans alike seem to think so. The "Euphoria" and "Anyone But You" star has quickly become one of the most in-demand actresses in the industry, and now, she's being heavily linked to one of cinema's most coveted roles. Known for her magnetic screen presence and range, Sweeney has already proven she can handle both drama and action, making her a natural fit for the world of 007. And according to a new report from Sports Casting, which was sent to The Blast, her name is leading the charge in the race to become the next Bond Girl, a role that has defined generations of movie icons.
Sydney Sweeney Tops The List As The Next 'Bond' Girl

The newly released betting odds reveal that Sweeney is the standout favorite to step into the "Bond" universe, topping a star-studded list of contenders. SportsCasting spokesperson Shane Orton told The Blast in an email that the numbers reflect not only her breakout success but her undeniable versatility as an actress.
"Sydney Sweeney feels like a perfect fit for the next 'Bond' Girl," Orton explained. "She has the stunning looks but also the acting skills to bring real depth to the role. Given how quickly she's become one of Hollywood's most talked-about young actresses, it's easy to see why she's the clear favorite."
With odds currently sitting at -150, Sweeney holds a substantial lead over her competition. "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" star Kiernan Shipka follows at +400, while Kendall Jenner sits in third place with +500.
Other Contenders In The Mix

While Sydney Sweeney may be the frontrunner, the competition is filled with some of the biggest names in Hollywood and pop music. "There are definitely other names in the mix, including Kiernan Shipka, Zendaya, and Florence Pugh, who all bring something unique," Orton said. "Plus, music stars like Sabrina Carpenter and Dua Lipa add star power and charisma. Still, Sydney's blend of talent and rising profile really puts her ahead of the pack."
Zendaya and Sabrina Carpenter are both listed at +600, while Florence Pugh and Jenna Ortega come in at +800. Dua Lipa trails just behind at +900, followed by Saoirse Ronan (+1000), Joey King (+1200), and Victoria Pedretti (+1400).
Rounding out the top ranks are Daisy Edgar-Jones, Lily Collins, and Millie Bobby Brown at +1600, with Ella Purnell (+1800), Anya Taylor-Joy (+2000), Margot Robbie (+2000), and Jennifer Lawrence (+2500) also making the list.
More 'Bond' Rumors

While speculation about the next "Bond" girl continues to dominate headlines, another A-lister's name has entered the conversation. Earlier this year, reports surfaced that Timothée Chalamet was in talks for a role in the upcoming "Bond" universe, but not as 007 himself.
As acclaimed director Denis Villeneuve gears up to direct the next installment in the legendary spy franchise, insiders revealed that Chalamet could be "suiting up" for a different character entirely. Villeneuve's involvement marks a new era for the series, the first under Amazon's ownership of MGM Studios following its $8.5 billion acquisition. With longtime producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson stepping back from creative control, fans have been eager to see which direction the new leadership will take the saga.
Timothée Chalamet Won't Be The Next James Bond

Despite the mounting speculation, insiders have shut down claims that Chalamet could replace Daniel Craig as the next James Bond. "Timothée Chalamet could be a part of a future Bond film, but in no way, shape, or form will he be James Bond," a source told the Daily Mail earlier this year. "An American actor will not play Bond, it's not going to happen, so that leaves Timothée out of the running for the lead."
It remains unclear what role the 28-year-old Oscar nominee could play. Still, his continued collaborations with Villeneuve, including "Dune: Part Two," have made him a strong contender for future involvement in the "Bond" franchise.
Other Big Names Circulating The 'Bond' Rumor Mill

While Timothée Chalamet's rumored involvement in the "Bond" universe has made headlines, two British actors are also drawing attention as possible frontrunners to carry on the 007 legacy. Theo James and James Norton.
Theo James, best known for his breakout role as Four in the "Divergent" series, has long proven he can anchor a blockbuster franchise. Meanwhile, James Norton continues to generate buzz for his commanding on-screen presence and sophisticated edge. The McMafia star has been a fan favorite for years, with many pointing to his time in the BBC crime drama as a kind of unofficial "Bond audition."
As casting rumors swirl about who will play the next James Bond, it's clear that Sydney Sweeney is already stealing the spotlight before the cameras even roll.
