Donald Trump wants NBC out by all means! The president has aimed at them again, and this time even extended his fury to their host, Al Sharpton.
The world leader has long been at odds with giant broadcasting companies and their late-night hosts, from ABC's Jimmy Kimmel to NBC's Seth Meyers, often criticizing both the personalities and the networks.
In his latest tirade, Trump renewed his call for an investigation into NBC while ridiculing Sharpton, whom he claimed was once an ally.
Donald Trump Requested the FCC Look Into NBC's License Over Al Sharpton's Continued Employment

The US president took to airing his displeasure with the "PoliticsNation" presenter as he shared a lengthy rant recalling his acquaintance with him, and posted an old photo of Sharpton before his weight loss.
"I knew Al Sharpton for many years, not that it matters, but he was a major 'TRUMP' fan," the 79-year-old wrote on his Truth Social platform, claiming the activist relied on his popularity to draw a crowd for his rallies.
The politician went further by mocking the 71-year-old host's career. He referenced Sharpton's involvement in the Tawana Brawley case, calling it "one of the worst low-level scams in history."
Trump added that Sharpton later connected with NBC Chairman Brian Roberts, who helped him secure his show, which he described as "one of the lowest-rated in television history."
The Republican then accused Roberts of being afraid to remove Sharpton for fear of appearing "politically incorrect," declaring it as the reason why the FCC should review NBC's license.
"This is just one of the many reasons that the Federal Communications Commission should look into the license of NBC, which shows almost exclusively positive Democrat content. Likewise, ABC Fake News," he wrote.
How Al Sharpton Came Under Donald Trump's Radar After Commenting On His Alleged Jeffrey Epstein Connection

Trump's sharp criticism of Sharpton comes months after the social justice activist accused him of using false claims to cause a distraction from his alleged links to Jeffrey Epstein, per The Blast.
Sharpton denied Trump's allegation that he was paid $600,000 to support Kamala Harris's campaign, calling it completely untrue.
He added that Trump's recurring attacks on prominent Black figures, including Barack Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Beyoncé, and himself, are driven by desperation and a desire to create controversy.
Donald Trump Previously Blasted NBC Over Seth Meyers' Renewed Contract

This isn't the first time Trump has taken aim at NBC. Back in August, upon hearing that Seth Meyers' contract had been extended, he lashed out at the network.
As The Blast reported, Trump expressed frustration over NBC's decision to keep Meyers, claiming the host lacked talent, intelligence, and ratings.
The real estate mogul even suggested something suspicious behind the move and vowed to "find out" why "The Late Night with Seth Meyers" was still on the air.
Although it appears Trump only recently learned about the "Saturday Night Live" alum's ongoing program, the contract was confirmed as far back as May 2024.
POTUS Threatens ABC With Lawsuit Over Jimmy Kimmel's Return

Another broadcasting agency that has also been at the center of Trump's ire is ABC, with The Blast reporting that he recently hinted at his intentions to take legal action against the company's decision to reinstate Kimmel.
Kimmel was briefly suspended for his controversial remarks about Charlie Kirk's death. However, not less than five days later, he came back on air, which left the businessman furious to the core.
Trump expressed disbelief at the station's choice to bring back Kimmel and questioned their motives to rehire someone who, in his view, performs poorly and damages their reputation.
He also reminded followers that he had previously sued ABC and won $16 million, suggesting this new case could be even "more lucrative."
Donald Trump Also Targeted Gayle King Of CBS

As Trump carries out his vendetta against hosts, Gayle King was not spared, as The Blast reported in August that he stated her career was over and mocked her for abandoning her past support for him.
The president attributed her lack of loyalty to him to her downfall and posted a New York Post article documenting that CBS may be considering ending King's contract due to poor viewership.
While neither King nor CBS has confirmed any changes, the report suggested that CBS's new parent company, Skydance Media, might not want to continue paying her multi-million-dollar salary.
