During a "Graham Norton Show" taping, host Graham Norton reportedly intervened when Jodie Turner-Smith awkwardly asked Taylor Swift about having babies.

Swift, promoting her "Life of a Showgirl" album, laughed off the moment, praising fiancé Travis Kelce's "10 out of 10" proposal and their shared passion for their careers.

On BBC Radio 2, Taylor Swift also dismissed claims that marriage or motherhood would slow her music career, calling it "offensive."

Graham Norton reportedly stepped in to diffuse an awkward exchange between actress Jodie Turner-Smith and Taylor Swift during a now-deleted segment of "The Graham Norton Show."

According to a TikTok user, who was an audience member, the uncomfortable moment occurred while the host was chatting with Swift about her wedding plans with NFL star Travis Kelce during promotion for her "Life of a Showgirl".

Turner-Smith, 39, allegedly interrupted the conversation to ask Swift, "And what about babies?" A  question the singer initially misunderstood.

The 35-year-old pop star reportedly responded lightly, saying, "Oh, no under-18s are coming, just adults."

However, the actress clarified, "No, no, I mean, are you going to have babies?" prompting a quick reaction from Norton.

The host was said to have stepped in immediately, telling Turner-Smith, "That's an off-camera conversation to have," before smoothly redirecting the discussion.

The moment was ultimately cut from the final broadcast, with the TikTok user noting that Norton handled the "uncomfortable" moment professionally and effortlessly and was "on top of it."

During the interview, Swift, who got engaged to Kelce in August, reportedly couldn't help but gush about her fiancé's "10 out of 10" proposal.

"He really crushed it," the singer said, gleefully. "He went all out."

Insiders previously told US Weekly that the couple doesn't intend to wait long before saying "I do," as they're eager to begin building their "dream" family.

Swift's feelings about motherhood have shifted over the years. In earlier interviews, she has spoken both about wanting "a minimum of four" children and, at other times, about her hesitations due to "strange men pointing giant cameras at them."

Appearing on BBC Radio 2 this Monday, the Grammy-winning artist also addressed fan speculation that marriage or motherhood might slow down her music career.

"That's a shockingly offensive thing to say," Swift said. "It's not why people get married, so they can quit their job."

BBC Radio 2 host Scott Mills noted that some fans tend to "panic" about her future plans, and Swift laughed in agreement.

"Oh, I know, they love to panic sometimes," she said. "But I love the person I am with because he loves what I do, and he loves how much I am fulfilled by making art and making music."

The singer called being passionate "one of the coolest things" about the NFL star. "He is so passionate about what he does that me being passionate about what I do… it connects us," she noted.

Swift continued: "There's no point in time where he's going to be like, 'I'm really upset that you're still making the music … the music thing that I signed up for, that I know you love, I thought you were going to stop doing that …' We both — as a living, as a job, as a passion — perform for three and a half hours in NFL stadiums."

Although Swift isn't in a rush to start planning the wedding, she shared that her current mindset aligns with the creative energy behind "Showgirl."

"It's nice when those things are not incongruous," she explained, contrasting it with where she was emotionally while creating her 2024 album "The Tortured Poets Department."

"I was in such a different place in my life when I wrote it," she admitted. “[I was] just miserable. And then when I put it out, I was so happy."

Swift continued, "So it was like, ah, I love this art. I love this beautiful art about misery. I, however, am not miserable anymore, so it feels weird to talk about the record because it's like, you can be proud of the work, but you can also just not relate to that person you were."

In September, Kelce gave some hints about his upcoming wedding to Swift while being questioned by guest Jimmy Fallon during an episode of his "New Heights" podcast.

"Are you gonna do DJ or band? Are you thinking about all this stuff?" Fallon had asked the footballer, per The Blast.

Kelce then seemingly dismissed the idea of hiring a DJ, saying, "Yeah, I think we're live music kind of people, you know?"

The late-night talk show host also talked about Kelce's karaoke skills, wondering if the NFL star might show it off at the wedding.

In response, Kelce's brother, Jason, stated that the Chiefs tight end has "always had this in his bag."

"He's been a man of entertainment since the beginning. So this is not surprising," Jason added.
