“I started my platform when I was 20 or 21,” Katie told The Blast exclusively. “Over the last decade, I’ve grown so much personally and professionally, and I realized health is about way more than just fitness. It’s about mental health, longevity, and daily habits that help you feel your best.”

For Austin, this evolution marks more than a rebrand, but it’s a reflection of her own transformation. “When I was in my early twenties, I could do a 30-minute workout and then go out for drinks and mac and cheese,” she laughed. “Now, I know wellness is about more than workouts. It’s the full picture.”

Austin Builds A Fitness Empire On Connection, Not Metrics

While many fitness platforms focus on metrics, Austin has built hers on connection. Her community, over two million strong across social media, is the heart of KA Daily’s design. “Community is everything for me,” Katie told The Blast. “I just hosted my first retreat, and it was so special. We had over 1,500 video submissions and chose 12 amazing women. Everything was free for them. It looked like a bachelorette trip, but it was all about connection and empowerment.”

That energy continues to drive her forward. Austin regularly leads live workout classes across the country and is currently embarking on a five-city fitness tour to meet her followers face-to-face. “I don’t just say community is everything, I live it,” she added. “When my followers message me asking for something, like a new Pilates ball workout, I listen. Two weeks later, it’s on the app.”

This hands-on feedback loop is what makes KA Daily feel alive. It’s not just content, but it’s a dialogue between creator and community.

As the daughter of fitness icon Denise Austin, Katie grew up surrounded by health and motivation. But she’s also carved out her own identity in the wellness space, one rooted in realism and relatability. “My mom is my biggest inspiration,” Katie told The Blast. “She taught me that movement doesn’t have to be intense to be effective, that a walk or a short Pilates session can do wonders.”

While her mother’s era defined at-home workouts, Katie’s approach incorporates modern tools and a deeper understanding of mental health. “I’m big on holistic health. Meditation, journaling, habit tracking,” she explained. “I love showing my audience that wellness isn’t one-size-fits-all. You can take a 20-minute walk or cook a one-pan dinner and still be doing something amazing for your body.”

And though the two Austins share a love of empowering others, Katie’s signature touch is her authenticity. “I want to be your workout bestie,” she said. “I’m not about perfection. I’m about progress.”

One of KA Daily’s biggest strengths lies in its flexible structure, offering consistency without rigidity. From a seven-day jumpstart plan to customizable schedules, the app is built for real-life balance.

“I always say it’s about flexibility when life gets crazy, but also the constant when you need it,” Katie told The Blast. “If you don’t have time for a 30-minute workout, that’s fine. Maybe it’s a five-minute meditation, a walk, or just hydrating more that day. There’s something you can do every day to feel good.”

Austin also incorporates motivational tools like in-app scheduling and habit tracking, helping users stay accountable. “Motivation doesn’t come every day,” she admitted. “It’s about discipline and routine. When you build habits, movement becomes a natural part of your life. Not a chore.”
