Embattled rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs has officially been sentenced to prison after his sex crimes trial.
The music mogul was not found guilty of the more serious crimes of racketeering and sex trafficking, but was found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
Prior to his sentencing, Sean "Diddy" Combs penned a deeply emotional letter to the judge, apologizing for his past mistakes.
Diddy Sentenced To Four Years Behind Bars

Diddy finally learned his fate after Judge Arun Subramanian sentenced the rapper to four years in prison (50 months) for his crime of transportation to engage in prostitution.
According to reports, Diddy will get time share credit for the time served during his trial, meaning he will now serve just 36 months in prison.
Judge Subramanian also imposed a $1 million fine against the rapper, which is the maximum amount allowed.
Diddy's family members were all present in court during his sentencing to support him after begging the judge for his release.
The Music Mogul Fears For His Life In Prison

According to The New York Post, the court session today began at 10 a.m. and featured Diddy's children, a reverend, and the "Finna Get Loose" rapper himself addressing the judge.
As the proceedings progressed, Diddy's lawyers argued that he should be released on a sentence of time served, as he'd become a "trophy" for other inmates who are bent on hurting him.
"The guards stopped a person who was armed with a shank who was on top of Sean and about to cut him," attorney Brian Steel said.
"Sean is not a typical person in custody; everyone knows him," he continued. "There are certain people who, it would be a trophy for them that they would get recognition if they harmed him."
Steel added that Diddy hasn't slept for two consecutive hours and that he perpetually "lives in fear."
"He cannot go back there," the lawyer stressed before the sentencing.
Diddy Broke Down In Tears

The Bad Boy Record Label founder has been locked behind bars at the notorious Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn since he was arrested in September last year.
Before his sentencing, prosecutors had argued that Judge Subramanian should slam an 11-year sentence on the "unrepentant" music mogul. However, his lawyers argued that he should only be given 14 months, which would have granted him near-immediate freedom, given the time already served.
Earlier during the court session, a nearly 12-minute video of his life was played in court, attempting to paint him as a doting father and a straight-up citizen. The clip saw Diddy playing with his kids, speaking to a large crowd, and presenting large checks.
The "I Need A Girl" rapper couldn't hold back tears when his ex-girlfriend Kim Porter's death came up.
"Oh, man," he said repetitively while crying. "Oh, man."
Feds Slam The Rapper As A 'Master Puppeteer Of His Own Image'

The feds came down heavy on the 55-year-old music star, claiming his time behind bars hasn't done anything to him and that the judge shouldn't be lenient at all.
In a stern rebuttal of Diddy's son, Quincy's claim of his father being a "changed man," federal prosecutor Mary Slavik told Judge Subramanian that Diddy is a "master puppeteer of his own image," not "a changed man."
"He's not a changed man now," Slavik said. "You can't trust his words."
"Despite what the defendant was projecting publicly, behind closed doors… he wasn't helping others. He was exploiting and using them," she noted.
Diddy's Kids Begged To Have Their Father Back Home

Diddy's kids also got to address the judge before learning how much longer they'll have to stay without their father at home.
One of his twin daughters, Jessie, told the court: "He's still our dad. We still need him present in our lives." Her sister, D'Lila, added that they're "scared of the thought of not having our dad or mom present in our lives."
"We are scared for our 2-year-old little sister who runs to us every night and asks where Daddy is and how much she misses him," she continued, referencing the rapper's youngest daughter, Love, whom he shares with model Dana Tran.
"We've lost our mother, we've lost time with our father, and every day he remains incarcerated, we lose more and more. Your honor, please, please — give our family time to heal together. To rebuild … not as a headline, but as human beings to be better," D'Lila pleaded.
Their brother, Christian, also got to speak, describing how Diddy "is the greatest man in the world."
"My whole life, he's told me to treat women with respect," Christian claimed.
