One day before his sentencing, Sean 'Diddy' Combs attempted to appeal to the court for leniency in a personal letter. Now, just moments before the disgraced rap mogul is scheduled to learn his fate from Judge Arun Subramanian, his children are speaking out in court, begging for mercy.
Sean 'Diddy' Combs' Children Are Begging The Court For Mercy On Their Father

Before Diddy learns how long he could be behind bars on his two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution charges, his children spoke on his behalf before Judge Subramanian, pleading for grace.
One of the rapper's sons, Justin Combs, appeared in court and described his father as "my superhero," according to a report from CNN. He went on to ask the judge to give his father a "second chance" at life to make amends for his wrongs.
During his statement, Justin described how challenging it has been to see his father "broken down and stripped of everything," adding that it's something he'll "never forget."
Justin went on to describe his close bond with his father, explaining that they speak to each other several times a day. He also discussed how his father's abstention from drugs has helped him become a "changed man."
"Your honor, I believe my father still has so much more to give the world and, more importantly, so much more to give his children," Justin said.
Quincy Brown Says His Father, Diddy, Has Learned A 'Major Lesson'

Diddy's other son, Quincy Brown, also addressed the court on his father's behalf, stating that their family would "love" the 55-year-old hip-hop star regardless of his "struggles."
Quincy explained that not only has Diddy become a changed person, he's also learned "a major lesson," adding, "Week after week, we’ve seen him evolve, something we haven’t seen in 15 years. He’s completely transformed."
Quincy also seemed to assure the judge that should his father be shown mercy, he'd refrain from getting into any further legal trouble. "Our father will never do anything to jeopardize his freedom, and as his children, we want to thank you. We only wish to heal together," he said.

According to a previous report from The Blast, Diddy shared a lengthy and personal statement with the court, as well, acknowledging his mistakes and later apologizing for the "hurt and pain that I have caused others by my conduct." Diddy echoed similar messages to the judge, explaining that he has learned a valuable lesson after reflecting on his past transgressions over the last two years.
In his letter, Diddy also pointed to his abusive relationship with singer Cassie Ventura, specifically the horrifying video of him assaulting her in a hotel lobby, explaining that he had "lost my mind" before stating how difficult living with this "heavy burden" will be for him moving forward.
Diddy also addressed his months behind bars since September 2024, claiming he has been "reborn" after being "humbled and broken to my core" by the experience. After choosing to reframe his mindset about his incarceration, Diddy said he's "made the best of my time" by reading books, writing, staying active, seeking therapy, and obtaining help to assist him with addressing "my past drug abuse and anger issues."
"I have been putting in the work and working diligently to become the best version of myself to ensure that I never make the same mistakes again," he wrote.
Cassie Asked The Judge To Consider All Victims In This Case

However, not all statements to the court painted Diddy in a positive light. His ex-girlfriend, Ventura, also submitted a letter to the judge, urging him to consider all the victims in the case, according to ABC News.
In the letter, Ventura explained that she testified for four days while nine months pregnant in the summer of 2025, describing the sex parties, also known as "Freak Offs," she was "forced" to participate in. She also mentioned the physical abuse she endured on a constant basis, stating that she turned to illicit drugs to help her numb the pain.
Ventura said she still has "nightmares" of her experiences with Diddy and expressed deep fear for her safety should he be released from prison.
"My worries that Sean Combs or his associates will come after me and my family is my reality. I have in fact moved my family out of the New York area and am keeping as private and quiet as I possibly can because I am so scared that if he walks free, his first actions will be swift retribution towards me and others who spoke up about his abuse at trial," she said.
Cassie Slams Claims Diddy Is A 'Changed Man'

Ventura didn't stop there, though. She also pushed back against the claims made by Diddy's defense team that the "Finna Get Loose" rapper is a "changed man" and that he hopes to help others learn from his past mistakes.
"His defense attorneys claim he is a changed man, and he wants to mentor abusers," she wrote. "I know firsthand what real mentorship means, and this disgusts me; he is not being truthful. I know that who he was to me—the manipulator, the aggressor, the abuser, the trafficker—is who he is as a human. He has no interest in changing or becoming better."
She finished by asking the judge to consider the "strength it took for victims of Sean Combs to come forward," adding, "I hope that your decision considers that many lives that Sean Combs has upended with his abuse and control."
