Kali Uchis Risqué Birthday Post Overshadowed By Fan Demands

Kali Uchis had a blast on her seemingly intimate birthday celebration. Days after she turned 31 in July, she posted on Instagram to share moments with fans.

The Grammy winner posed in risqué two-piece swimwear that bewitched fans, drawing over a million likes and thousands of comments. The comments, however, were not all compliments. Many fans made similar demands that Uchis eventually had to oblige.

The bikini top featured narrow, ruched strips of fabric pulled together into a band just under her bust. The design exposed a generous line of cleavage while teasing flashes of sideboob. She paired it with matching bikini bottoms that had silver rings across the waistband.

The sensual appeal intensified in the second slide, where she posed in the water, pulling her bottoms with one thumb, while her bust made a bolder appearance, spilling from both sides of the narrow ruched covers.

This was also Uchis’s first birthday celebration as a mom. So, she included sweet moments with her son and her partner, Don Toliver, in the post.

Instead of just birthday wishes, the comments section was almost overrun with fans demanding one thing: “the setlist.”

Kali Uchis released her fifth studio album, “Sincerely,” on May 9, 2025. Then she announced “The Sincerely, Tour” a few days after. Her birthday post was hijacked by fans asking for the tour setlist “to be prepared” to sing along without skips. Some even demanded specific songs they wanted in the list.

Uchis obliged on August 13, revealing the setlist in a seven-slide carousel. Fans swiped through thirst traps before landing on the list itself. Most were thrilled by the setlist, but some expressed disappointment over missing favorites.

The tour kicked off the next day and wrapped successfully on September 28.

Motherhood hasn’t slowed Kali Uchis down. She and Don Toliver welcomed their first child, a healthy baby boy, in March 2024. The couple shared the news with a heartfelt Instagram post that racked up over 2 million likes. Since then, she’s been balancing her artistry with her new role.

This summer, she brought the heat with a buttery yellow bikini set that made her look like a delicate flower from a blooming garden. “Just perfect,” a fan commented. But many were fixated on the tour, showing just how hyped her tour had become.

By 2021, she won a Grammy for Best Dance Record for “10%” with Kaytranada. From that teen living in her car, she’s grown to become a mom and a Grammy-winning artist loved by millions.
