Pop star Taylor Swift has fans talking about her teeth amid the release of her new album! Although the "Cruel Summer" singer has faced plenty of criticism over her new showgirl aesthetic, this may be the first time that fans have zeroed in on her pearly whites. While showing off her directing skills in an ad for her new album, fans zoomed in on her face to ask "what's wrong" with it. In addition to accusations of fillers and plastic surgery, other fans had some serious questions about why her teeth looked "off."

While promoting the “The Crowd Is Your King” edition of “The Life of a Showgirl,” Taylor can be seen holding up a megaphone while standing in front of a director’s chair that prominently featured the Target logo. One user took to Reddit to declare that the ad was “so cringe.”
They went on to say that the “Anti-Hero” singer came across as “unbelievably vain and self-centered” in the ad, going on to blast her “tired gimmick” of playing a movie director who is also directing herself. “I feel like everything she’s done, down to the tiny details, we’ve seen all of it thousands of times already,” they wrote.

One of the top comments on the post expressed confusion about who they were even looking at. “Who even is this?! Her eyes are the only (although barely) recognizable feature on her face right here,” they wrote along with a cringing emoji.
“What is happening with the upper lip and teeth?? Her jaw > cheek line is so uncanny valley. She’s turning into the Juvederm mascot, sheesh,” another follower wrote. A third one blamed it on her veneers, writing, “she had cute crooked teeth when she was younger, but then I guess instead of getting her braces they went the nuclear option and got her veneers instead.”

One user asked, “Why is she giving Austin Powers' goofy buck-toothed face here?” which got 25 upvotes, while another netizen speculated that this is the reason that she has not been showing up in public lately. “Is this why she’s been hiding lately? Completely new face?” they asked.
Another user said that her eyes “look pulled very tight,” while another claimed that they are “convinced she’s gotten more work done recently. Another user compared her to a Kardashian, writing, “She is at Kardashian levels of how often she's getting work done recently.”

Although the “Delicate” singer has directed a few music videos and her “All Too Well” short film, some users don’t think that her directing skills are actually up to par. “Taylor has been cosplaying as a musician for 20 years. She probably thinks she can do the same as a director,” one user wrote, while another said, “Unlike music, you can't ghostwrite your way to an Oscar.”
“She’s trying so hard to be taken seriously as a director lol,” another laughed, which prompted another user to say that she’s “never gonna get an EGOT for her acting ability.” This prompted others to critique her acting, particularly in the 2019 “Cats” film, which currently has a measly 19% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
