The White House's efforts to shut down Donald Trump's celebrity critics continue, with their latest target: Ariana Grande.

The celebrated singer/actress earned the White House's ire after reposting a query aimed at MAGA supporters. The post questioned if Trump voters were under his reign despite the attacks against immigrants and other communities.

Before Ariana Grande joined the ever-growing list of celebrities getting criticized for their political views, Donald Trump and the White House caused a stir at the U.S. Open earlier this month.

Kush Desai, a spokesperson for the White House, addressed Grande's stance against the President in a scathing statement. The representative implied that she shouldn't voice her thoughts on politics, but focus on her career, as she had little to offer.

"Save your tears, Ariana, because President Trump's actions ended Joe Biden's inflation crisis and are bringing in trillions in new investments," Desai told TMZ, adding that Trump paved the way for the FTC's attacks on Ticketmaster.

Desai's words implied that Grande should be grateful to Trump, noting that the FTC's fight against Ticketmaster stopped the organization from ripping off her concert-going fans. "Get well soon, Ariana!" the White House spokesperson concluded.

Inside The Singer's Post About MAGA Supporters

The White House's response to Grande followed her Instagram Story post on Sunday, September 28. The Blast covered the story, reporting that she reposted the query initially penned by makeup artist Matt Bernstein.

The post was addressed to Trump voters and asked if they were happy under his reign, which was allegedly built on the pain of immigrants, trans people, and the growing threat against free speech.

"Has the widespread suffering of others paid off for you in the way he promised it would, or are you still waiting?" the message partly read.

Although Grande did not originally pen this query, critics took it as her stance against the President. Trump supporters slammed her on X, claiming they were happy and that she shouldn't comment on their choices. On the other hand, Arianators applauded the singer for standing against injustice.

This wasn't the first time Grande had bared her claws at Trump's mass deportations. She showcased her stance against the President in June, reposting a protester's sign that read:

"Could someone explain which crimes get you deported and which ones get you elected President? It's so confusing."

The post sparked heated reactions from Trump supporters on X, and many demanded that she be deported. One critic claimed she wasn't beneficial to the GDP, while another noted she deserved to be removed from the country.

Despite the cries for Grande's deportation, she was not an immigrant. The singer was born in Boca Raton, Florida, to American parents of Italian descent. She has been a Trump critic since 2016, supporting Hillary Clinton during the Republican's first run for office.

Grande joined the growing list of celebrities getting criticized by the White House weeks after the drama at the U.S. Open men's singles final. The event took place earlier this month, with Trump's attendance causing the highly anticipated match between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz to start 45 minutes late.

The President's heavy security detail delayed the crowd, causing many not to reach their seats by the time the tennis match started. Celebrities suffered alongside the public, with stars like Catherine Zeta-Jones, Michael Douglas, and Ben Stiller stuck in long queues.

The White House showed no remorse for the delays and mocked Trump's popular celebrity critics, Bruce Springsteen and Stephen Colbert.

"Oh no! How will we ever recover from the pathetic (but hilarious) crying of Loser Bruce Springsteen and Newly Unemployed Stephen Colbert?" Rapid Response 47 wrote on X.

Grande's stance against Trump hasn't stopped her from making money, with The Blast reporting in May that she scored her first significant movie role after "Wicked." She earned a spot on the next installment of the "Meet the Parents" franchise alongside comedy legends.

The "Side to Side" hitmaker was cast alongside Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro for Universal Pictures' "Meet the Parents 4." The franchise's familiar faces, Blythe Danner and Teri Polo, were expected to return; however, their contracts had not yet been finalized.

The upcoming movie was scheduled to be released on November 25, 2026, and would be directed by John Hamburg, the screenwriter of the previous three installments. Additionally, original trilogy director Jay Roach returned as a producer, with Jane Rosenthal and De Niro through Tribeca Productions.

Will Ariana Grande respond to the White House's comments?
