Ariana Grande has a big question for MAGA supporters: "Are you happier?"
The singer/actress who supported Kamala Harris during the 2024 presidential elections sparked mixed reactions after reposting a scathing post about the alleged state of the economy under Donald Trump's reign.
The social media letter, penned initially by makeup artist Matt Bernstein, was reposted by Ariana Grande on her Instagram Story. The post went viral on X after a fan account dropped the question to MAGA supporters.
Ariana Grande Wants To Know If Donald Trump Supporters Are Happy

Grande reshared Bernstein's query to Trump voters on Sunday, September 28, which asked if they were happier under his reign. The letter addressed to MAGA supporters noted that it has been 250 days since the president's return to the Oval Office, yet several communities have continued to suffer.
"Immigrants have been violently torn from their families, and communities have been destroyed," with trans people allegedly living in fear after being blamed for every problem, and free speech was at risk. "Has your life gotten better? Have your groceries gotten cheaper?" the letter continued, adding:
"Has your health insurance premium gone down? Has your work/life balance improved? Can you take a vacation yet? Are you happier?"
"Has the widespread suffering of others paid off for you in the way he promised it would, or are you still waiting?" the post concluded.

Although Bernstein initially penned the query to MAGA supporters, Grande's repost seemingly showcased her interest in knowing if Trump voters were happier under his reign. Critics took the post as her direct words and slammed her for criticizing their choice.
"I love when billionaires who use private security give their political opinions regarding policies and life for us peasants that will never affect them," someone sarcastically penned on X. Another agreed, writing, "Most of those claims are total bullsh-t. But, yes. The answer is yes."
A third echoed similar sentiments, adding, "Actually, yes. Bought a house this year. Thanks to Jesus Christ. Maybe she should eat so she can think clearly?"
On the other hand, Grande's supporters applauded her for being brave enough to voice her opinions, with a fan declaring, "I love stanning someone who has the right morals."
The 'Yes, And?' Hitmaker Has Never Been A Trump Supporter

Grande's repost was unsurprising, given her lack of approval for Trump during his first time in Office. Teen Vogue covered the story in 2016, reporting that the singer stood by presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton's side, rather than the Republicans' side.
The former Nickelodeon star consoled fans following Trump's victory in the 2016 elections, noting that they shouldn't give up and keep fighting for what they believed was right.
She shared an image depicting how the Electoral College votes could have turned out if only young people had participated in the voting process.
If people aged 18 to 25 had been the only voters, all but eight states would have voted for Clinton. "It restores my hope a little bit that this is what our generation's vote looked like," Grande noted about the results, claiming it signified that better days were coming.
Critics Called For The Former Nickelodeon Star's Deportation

Grande's recent post wasn't the first time she had clashed with Trump supporters. In June, The Blast shared that many had called for the "Wicked" actress's deportation after she reposted a protester's placard with the message condemning the deportations.
"Could someone explain which crimes get you deported and which ones get you elected President? It's so confusing," the sign read. Trump supporters took offence at Grande's repost and demanded that she be deported on X.
One critic claimed nobody would care if Trump deported Grande because she wasn't beneficial to the GDP. Another echoed similar sentiments, claiming she deserved to be deported, while a third slammed her for not respecting the President.
Ariana Grande Announces First Tour in Six Years

A month before sparking mixed reactions with her MAGA post, The Blast reported that Grande had received hundreds of excited comments from fans following the announcement of her first tour in six years, after 2019's Sweetener World Tour.
Grande broke the news on Instagram, dropping a promotional poster for her upcoming Eternal Sunshine Tour. The post featured the dates and location for the 2026 gig, revealing the shows would start on June 6 in Oakland, California.
The singer would then move to Los Angeles for two more performances before heading to Austin, Texas. She would then travel to her hometown in Florida for two shows at the Amerant Bank Arena. Additionally, Grande's tour would continue in Atlanta, followed by four shows in Brooklyn's Barclays Center.
She would make a two-day stop in Montreal, Canada, before returning to Chicago and concluding her tour at London's O2 Arena with four shows in August.
Will Donald Trump respond to Ariana Grande's MAGA query?
