The American singer revealed on an episode of Khloé Kardashian's "Khloé in Wonder Land" podcast that after her husband's death, she struggled to fully immerse herself in her work.

She said she had several ideas and things to do, but she just couldn't bring herself to do them, and even if she tried, she wouldn't finish. She added, "I can't do it right now because I've got so many other things that I can't afford the luxury of getting that emotional right now."

Even though she felt peace about Dean's passing, knowing he was not suffering anymore, she still had a hard time coming to terms with the fact that he was not around anymore.

The peace that comes with the fact that his pain is over does not make it less painful. Parton claims she still feels his presence around and is sure she will see him someday.

Get well soon, Dolly Parton!
