In an exclusive interview with The Blast, Bailon-Houghton shared candidly about her busy mornings with her son, Ever, and how her new partnership with Life Cereal has helped her adopt a different approach to navigating the hectic start to the day.

"I think sometimes we can get caught up in the idea that our mornings should be perfect," she said. "We want the birds to be chirping when we wake up."

Bailon-Houghton, however, has learned that's not the way things always pan out, especially during the busy months of August and September.

"The reality is that we are currently in the thick of back to school," she said before speaking about her nieces, 11 and 13, and how they spend time with her at home. "I know that the hustle and bustle of getting them ready for school is absolutely insane for me."

And Bailon-Houghton isn't alone in her thoughts. In a short documentary-style film released by Life Cereal, other parents described the commotion that comes with busy mornings as "chaotic" and "rushed."

The children, though, had a totally different outlook on their morning routines, calling it "fun" and "exciting."

During her conversation with The Blast, Bailon-Houghton admitted that challenging herself to view the morning from her child's eyes helped change her perspective.

"I think that definitely resonates with me because, as much as I want my mornings to look like music playing chirps, you know, of the birds, the reality is most mornings I wake up with like a foot across my face," she said.

Adrienne Bailon-Houghton Wants To Embrace The Slower Mornings

In a press release sent to The Blast, Ciara Dilley, Senior Vice President, Growth Portfolio at PepsiCo, opened up about their new campaign, saying, "The breakfast table has changed a lot over the years."

Dilley continued, “We hope that [with our new partnership], parents can let go of trying to be perfect and embrace those small moments of fun and joy in their mornings.”

Bailon-Houghton said that message has come to fruition in her own life, as she's now teaching her son to embrace life's little hiccups, such as accidental spills and messes that are sure to come with the morning rush. "This is life," she said. "It's not chaos; it's just life and embracing that and making them love those moments."

Would Bailon-Houghton Film Another 'Cheetah Girls' Movie?

So, could Bailon-Houghton's work with her husband's band, Israel and the New Breed, be the start of more music for the actress?

"We are working on it," she said, adding, "It's in progress."

And with streaming services rebooting and reviving former titles, would Bailon-Houghton reunite with her former "Cheetah Girls" bandmates for a fourth film?

"I would never say," she revealed. "I'm a never-say-never kind of girl."

She continued, "Definitely not saying no, but it would just have to be done right. I think that, and I am the kind of girl [who has] franchises that I'm a huge fan of, and I would hate for them to ruin it."
