Sarah Ferguson's reputation continues to spiral after her leaked emails with Jeffrey Epstein came to light. The latest blow comes as actress Natalie Dormer has withdrawn from a film centered on the Duchess of York.

Like the organizations that have distanced themselves from the businesswoman, the "Game of Thrones" star explained that Ferguson's character does not align with her values.

Adding to the turmoil, her future as a royal remains uncertain, with reports claiming that King Charles is under pressure to expel both Ferguson and her ex-husband, Prince Andrew, from the royal family.

"The Hunger Games" actress decided to wash her hands of the film, "The Lady," explaining that the damaging revelations surfaced after she had wrapped the movie's production.

"Since completing the project, new information has come to light that makes it impossible for me to reconcile my values with Sarah Ferguson's behaviour, which I believe is inexcusable," Dormer said in a statement to Variety.

"For that reason, I will not be taking part in the promotion of the project," the 43-year-old declared. Making it clear where she stands concerning the well-being of children, Dormer made a huge donation of her "entire salary from the project" to a charity for abused children.

The project, which spotlights Ferguson's life, follows Jane, a working-class woman from Grimsby, whose life took a dramatic turn after she answered an ad in a magazine and became Ferguson's dresser at Buckingham Palace.

This role exposed her to Britain's elite social circles, but after nine years, she lost her position. Struggling with the downfall, Jane later met businessman Thomas Cressman, fell in love, and tied her future to the relationship. However, the romance unraveled badly, resulting in severe consequences.

The synopsis added that Jane and Ferguson grew close after Jane started working at the palace in 1988, the same year she met Cressman through friends.

Dormer's disassociation from Ferguson ties comes days after the children's hospice Julia's House removed Ferguson as one her patrons

As reported by The Blast, the organization made it clear that as Ferguson's private emails with the disgraced financier surfaced, her continued role as patron was no longer acceptable.

Even though Ferguson had once spoken warmly of the hospice and praised its work, the charity decided that maintaining its integrity and safeguarding its public image outweighed her past support. However, the organization did not fail to acknowledge her past help.

With charities and institutions dropping Ferguson one after another, Prince William is pushing to have her and Prince Andrew removed from the royal household.

King Charles, however, is said to oppose banishing the pair completely. As The Blast reported, the monarch's hesitation comes from the fact that his brother is loyal to the crown, unlike Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. King Charles also wants to honor the late Queen Elizabeth's wishes.

William, on the other hand, sees the scandal as the perfect opportunity to strip the former couple of their status. He has long regarded Andrew and Ferguson as opportunistic and a source of embarrassment and with Sarah’s latest controversy, his displeasure at them has increased.

As Ferguson deals with the repercussions of her association with Epstein, her ex-husband Andrew is facing renewed scrutiny over his own links to the sex offender.

The Blast reported that South Carolina politician Nancy Mace called for investigations into Andrew's ties with Epstein.

Mace took to her X account, requesting that Andrew be prosecuted. "Now seems like a good time to discuss prosecuting Prince Andrew for any and all potential crimes on US soil," Mace wrote. "A cold, dark cell. Prince Andrew in handcuffs. Sends the right message."

Mace followed the message with her reasons, claiming it would help the victims heal. Virginia Giuffre has previously alleged that Andrew abused her when she was a teenager and under Epstein’s control. Andrew has always denied the claims, but instead of going to trial to clear his name, he chose to settle privately with a financial payout.
