Katy Perry In Braless Glitter Dress Warned To 'Stop The Ozempic'

Katy Perry didn't receive the warmest response as she showed off a glamorous look at this year's Breakthrough Awards. The singer, 40, stepped onto the red carpet in a show-stopping dress in March, going low-cut, glittery, and backless as she highlighted her curves and her weight loss. Alongside sparking ridicule as she was told she looked "stupid" and "desperate," Katy had fans bringing up her weight, something that's been a talking point ever since she began slimming down in late 2023. The pop star was even told to "stop the Ozempic" by one fan, although it's worth noting that Katy has never admitted to taking the weight loss medication.

Flashing her braless chest while going one-shouldered, Katy exposed her slender arms and slimmed-down torso in her floor-length look, also going backless as she wore a fun, built-in hood.

Showcasing her muscular back in rearview snaps, Katy kept glam with a slight train, hiding the heels she was wearing while wearing a full face of makeup. The "Lifetimes" hitmaker ported plenty of matte foundation under blush, also rocking champagne-colored eyeshadow and a nude lip stain. She attended the Santa Monica, CA-held event alongside the likes of fellow singer Christina Aguilera, actress Salma Hayek, and socialite Paris Hilton.

The Daily Mail's readers didn't prove too complimentary as they reacted to Katy's fashion choice.

"She looks ridiculous," one fan said. Over 100 users agreed when another wrote: "Awful dress." Here, a fan replied, writing: "She looks ridiculous! Like something out of the Jetsons!" Elsewhere, fans commented on Katy Perry's weight. One said that Katy had used "fillers" to "hide the Ozempic face," with a further user telling her to quit taking the weight loss drug.

"ON THAT OZEMPIC, OBVIOUSLY," another fan wrote. Katy has admitted to eating tons of hard-boiled eggs, but she's never stated she's an Ozempic user. Stars including Oprah Winfrey, Alabama Barker, Sharon Osbourne, and Serena Williams have, however, admitted to using weight loss medication.

In early July, Katy Perry made headlines for ending her relationship with former fiancé, Orlando Bloom.
