Last year, The Blast shared that the Presley family received a notice in May that Graceland was to be auctioned off to the highest bidder at the Shelby County Courthouse. The notice stated that Lisa had borrowed $3.8 million from a Missouri private lending company in 2018, using Graceland as collateral.

The company, Naussany Investments and Private Lending, stated that the late singer had failed to repay the loan before her sudden death in January 2023. These claims have prompted Riley Keough, her daughter, to clarify that her mother never borrowed any money from the company.

In a 60-page lawsuit filed in response to the company's claims, Riley stated that her mother's signatures on the documents were forged, and the company itself has a very questionable image.

Riley also obtained a temporary restraining order ensuring the sale remained suspended, as notaries who worked on the deep reportedly denied any contact with the late Lisa.

Priscilla really held nothing back in this memoir, as she took a deep dive into her daughter's multiple trials at love, which included a failed marriage to Nicolas. She described the former lovebirds as warring partners who shared similar temperaments and would often get into arguments over practically everything.

Priscilla recalled Nicolas tossing their $65,000 engagement ring into the ocean while they were out on vacation in Catalina. Despite witnessing their rendezvous of fights and bickering, Priscilla had very lovely words to describe her former son-in-law.

She revealed that they were a passionate couple, and the actor's capacity for love superseded whatever issues they had, which is why they found it easy to reunite after a breakup. Unfortunately, their intense emotions, which led them to the altar, also caused them to split three months into their marriage.

"It's sad, and I miss her every day. And sometimes I wish we couldn't have rushed the marriage and sometimes I regret rushing the divorce, but it just seemed like it wasn't going to change," Nicolas famously shared about the failed marriage.

The author disclosed that losing her daughter was a very painful event similar to when she lost her husband, Elvis. Priscilla shared that she reported to the hospital right after Lisa's ex informed them that she had been rushed in after she was found unconscious in her home.

Lisa reportedly passed on from bowel obstructions, a form of complication that arose after her successful bariatric surgery. Priscilla stated that it was nearly impossible for her to come to terms with her daughter's death, especially after she had to take off her life support.

The mother-of-two revealed that her daughter had little brain activity going on by the time she arrived at the hospital, and the light she always saw in her eyes was gone.

"For hours we were there waiting, hoping and praying until the doctor came in and said, 'Priscilla, I'm so sorry, she's gone.' It was hard on all of us; it still is," Priscilla explained.

Priscilla Presley certainly has many fond memories of her late daughter.
