Sean "Diddy" Combs' lawyers have made a last-ditch effort to secure the rapper's release from jail and have alleged that he's facing "inhumane" conditions behind bars.
The music mogul has been imprisoned at the notorious Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn ahead of his sentencing in October.
Sean "Diddy" Combs has also seen several of his bail requests turned down as Judge Arun Subramanian cited his violent past as the reason for the denial.
Diddy's Lawyer Claims The Rapper Has Suffered Enough

Sean "Diddy" Combs' lawyers have launched another move to secure an early prison release for the embattled rapper, barely a month after his last bail request was denied.
In their latest request, the lawyers claimed that Diddy has faced "inhumane" conditions living at the notorious prison complex. They also noted that he is on "constant suicide watch" while waiting for his October 3rd sentencing.
According to Fox News Digital, Diddy's legal team proposed that the rapper should be handed a 14-month sentence for the prostitution related charge.
He has already spent more than 12 months in jail since he was arrested in September last year, with his lawyers saying the musician had been "sufficiently punished" for his crimes.
"Mr. Combs has suffered physically and mentally, and continued incarceration serves no positive goal. Courts do not simply punish, but must restore and rehabilitate with a goal to returning the convicted person to their community as soon as practicable," they wrote in the sentencing memorandum.
The Rapper's Lawyers Want Court To Shun Sentencing Guidelines

Elsewhere in the court document, Diddy's lawyers noted that if released, he'll maintain good behavior and will "abide by every order" the court dictates.
"Upon release, Mr. Combs fully intends to abide by every order of this Court and to renew and repair relationships that have been damaged, in a healthy, positive, and lawful manner," they wrote.
The document continued, "After embarking on this journey, Mr. Combs will devote attention to his family and community and to creating new initiatives and opportunities for others."
Diddy's lawyers went further to argue that the court should not use the sentencing guidelines, claiming they "do not adequately consider the pervasive violence and inhumane conditions of confinement that Mr. Combs has experienced at MDC."
Diddy's Lawyers List Other Uncomfortable Situations

Aside from being on "constant suicide watch," they also argued that the Bad Boy Records founder has faced several appalling living conditions, including being deprived of clean water.
According to Fox News, the document noted that Diddy "often heats his water to have clean water to drink without getting sick," and has "not breathed fresh air in nearly 13 months or felt sunlight on his skin."
They also noted that his sleeping condition is nothing to write home about as he's made to sleep "within two feet from other inmates with the bathroom in the same room, with no door."
"Lack of physical exercise with weights or any proper equipment," "no physical therapy for his several shoulder and knee injuries, "no functioning washing machine/dryers," and "extreme temperatures (freezing cold or burning hot)" were the other appalling living conditions they stated.
A Judge Denied The Music Mogul's Bail Request

Diddy was convicted in July of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, but was acquitted on more serious charges of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy.
He faces up to 10 years in jail for each count, although the duration he has already spent would be counted.
Judge Arun Subramanian has previously denied a proposed $50 million bail package for Diddy, citing his history of violence, especially with the hotel surveillance video that showed him hitting and stomping his ex-girlfriend, Cassandra "Cassie" Ventura.
Meanwhile, Diddy's family and friends have written more than 70 letters to the judge seeking leniency for the rapper ahead of his sentencing next week, per CNN.
"I don't know how much longer I will be around, but I would love to be able to see him and his children together again," Diddy's mom, Janice, wrote in a signed letter to the judge.
Diddy's Kids Beg For His Release

Diddy's son Christian "King" Combs told the judge that his father didn't deserve to be in jail.
"I'm asking you to please let my father out of jail! He does not deserve to be there and I know this from the bottom of my heart !!," he wrote.
The rapper's oldest son, Justin, acknowledged that his father isn't perfect and has "made mistakes," but asked the judge to see Diddy not like the headlines depict him, but "through the eyes of a son who loves and needs him."
He added, "Please allow him the chance to come home, to be the father his children desperately need, and to continue the work of becoming the man I know he is capable of being."
