Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster are yet to officially make their red carpet debut, months after confirming their romance.
The couple came under scrutiny due to the situation surrounding their relationship, as they grew close to each other during the Broadway revival of "The Music Man" while still being with their now-ex spouses.
An insider has shared that Sutton Foster and Hugh Jackman have yet to officially walk the red carpet because the actress "is still nervous" about their relationship.
Why Hugh Jackman And Sutton Foster Haven't Walked The Red Carpet As A Couple

Several months after launching their romance with a dinner date at a cozy California restaurant, Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster have seemingly opted to keep their relationship private and are barely seen together in public.
Just days ago, they looked all loved up as they were seen arriving together at LaGuardia Airport, New York. They seemed gleefully in love, joking and laughing with each other as they made their way through arrivals with their luggage.
The sighting is the only one they've made together since May, and despite their relationship being confirmed, they're yet to officially make their red carpet debut as a couple.
Although reports had attributed scheduling conflicts and a desire for privacy as the reasons, an insider recently shared that the separate red carpet outings are due to Foster's unease about appearing with Jackman on such a public stage.
"Sutton is still nervous about taking that big step into Hugh's world," a source told New Idea.
Hugh Jackman Wants The Actress Around For The Premiere Of His New Movie

The pair made headlines last year for their romance, with industry insiders labeling their relationship Hollywood's "worst kept secret" after they grew close on the set of "The Music Man."
Although they seem to have successfully kept their romance under the radar, their private nature may soon change as the "Logan" star is reportedly hoping to have her by his side during the premiere of his new movie "Song Sung Blue" in October.
"It's a big moment for him, and he wants to share it with the woman he loves," the source who spoke to New Idea explained.
The Couple's Relationship Has Been Plagued By Rumors

The "Wolverine" actor divorced his ex-wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, in September 2023 before starting his relationship with Foster the following year.
Although the timelines are distinct, internet users have speculated that the actor and his ladylove grew close to each other while still being married to their spouses at the time.
Now reports suggest their relationship has hit a rough patch caused by the public scrutiny they've faced.
"It's always hard dating in the public eye... but when you add their whole backstory and what they've put on the line as far as their reputations, the pressure rises," a source previously told Life and Style Magazine.
At the time, it was understood that their busy nature had taken a toll on their relationship, especially as Jackman stayed away for long filming in Ireland.
"Being apart for an extended period of time can be tough on any couple. There's a lot of harsh judgment about them online," the source added. "Now, there's a sense they have something to prove."
The Couple Has A 'Dark Cloud' Hanging Over Their Relationship

Jackman was said to be "madly in love" with Foster and was considering going down on one knee to propose, but there seems to be a "dark cloud" hanging over their relationship.
After finalizing his divorce with Furness back in June, the 56-year-old actor is single and ready to mingle again, but Foster still has unfinished business with her ex-husband Ted Griffin, who's said to be "dragging his feet" on their split.
"He's upset and doesn't want to let go, which is upsetting for Sutton because she still really cares about him," a source recently told the National Enquirer.
Hugh Jackman Has 'No Choice But To Wait' For Sutton Foster To Finalize Her Divorce

The insider also added that the actress is also concerned about their daughter, Emily, "who is the light of both their lives," adding that "every decision has to be made with her in mind, which makes it all that much heavier."
"Sutton is a positive and upbeat person, so she does her best to put a happy face on for Hugh, but he can see that she's struggling. He hates that he can't just swoop in and fix this for her," they added.
It appears the "Deadpool Vs. Wolverine" actor's hands are tied, and all he can do for now is to wait and see how things turn out.
"He's dying to propose, but he knows the timing would be terrible, so he's got no choice but to wait, which is killing him," the insider said of Jackman.
