Miley Cyrus Exposing Bare Chest In Only A Skirt 'Unnecessary'

Miley Cyrus has faced backlash over her recent CR Fashion Book shoot. Earlier this month, the singer stripped down for a classy display of her curves as part of her feature, showing off her bare chest as she modeled a metallic gold skirt and not much else. Braving a chest flash while just about staying safe, Miley wore the hair bra trend with her wet locks protecting her modesty, but for some, her hair wasn't protecting enough. Users lashed out at the "Flowers" singer, with one saying that her exposing photo was "unnecessary." Miley's feature also included another celebrity as she and actress Pamela Anderson had an in-depth chat.

Scroll for the snap. Lifting her arms up to her head while closing her eyes, Miley sent out dramatic goth vibes with her heavy makeup, turning heads with her figure while showing off a high-end look.

Going flared in a structured Harris Reed skirt in gold, the Grammy winner added pops of black satin at the back, going billowing for a ball gown effect.

Displaying her ultra-toned abs and sculpted arms, Miley stunned with her braless assets on show, managing to cover her nipples with her soaking wet hair. The Hannah Montana alum wore blue eyeshadow and run-effect mascara, pale foundation, and a red lip, highlighting her gorgeous features as she channeled a dark energy.

When The Daily Mail published Miley's shoot, fans quickly pounced. "Isn't she always naked? Put it away, Honey!" one said. "Just gross... it's so unnecessary and gross," another said as over 30 fans upvoted the comment. Thinking that Miley exposing her chest is old news, a third said: "Cyrus has been showing her biscuit bumps for a decade. This is totally in line with her behavior."

Miley Cyrus has never been afraid to show some skin. In 2023, and during her epic "Flowers" era, she stripped down to this racy black lingerie set, going slightly sheer as she donned high heels and shades.

The Instagram photos came as part of her Endless Summer Vacation album promo. Fast-forward to today, and Miley is busy promoting her 2025 album, Something Beautiful. 

This wouldn't be Miley Cyrus' first sit-down with Canadian Pamela Anderson. In January, Cyrus spoke to the Baywatch star for a Hollywood Reporter feature, notably making headlines for wearing this segmented sheer bodice for her shoot.

Addressing her fame in her CR Fashion Bookinterview, Miley revealed: "It wasn’t until my late 20s and early 30s that I started reevaluating: “Is this still what I want?” So far, the answer has been yes, but I’m not afraid of the day it’s no."
