Gordon Ramsay's Bel Air Mansion At The Centre Of Another Bogus 911 Call

What is it about Gordon Ramsay's house that swatters love so much?

The media personality was reportedly out of the country when a false alarm was reported from his residence, prompting the presence of police and emergency services.

Gordon Ramsay had experienced a similar occurrence in April after an unknown person called the cops to the celebrity's home with false reports of a shooting incident.

Law enforcement disclosed that the call came in on Monday evening, with the person on the end of the line telling 911 that a shooting had happened at his home. The caller reportedly told authorities he was armed with a black revolver and had just shot his brother, who is a chef, alongside his nephew.

The caller also told the police he was unwilling to leave the Bel Air home as he was using heroin. However, upon the officials' arrival at the property, they were met with a peaceful atmosphere and no casualties.

In fact, Ramsay was reportedly out of the country, leaving law enforcement to speak with his personal assistant, who was at home. Investigations have reportedly commenced to determine the source of the call and hopefully unravel the identity behind such a false alarm.

Although no arrests have been made so far, TMZ confirmed Ramsay has also not reacted to the incident.

Similar to this was the phone call in April, where officers reportedly answered a phone call around 8:40 pm, where they claimed a gunman opened fire at Ramsay's residence. 

Upon the cops' arrival at the residence, the outlet reported that they found nothing of such on the ground, and neighbors affirmed that no shooting took place. Ramsay was also not on the property during the phone call.

The officers eventually concluded it was a case of swatting, where callers create false scenarios to law enforcement agents in an attempt to direct them to their target's location.

Another celebrity experienced a similar situation in April, prompting officers to visit her Hidden Hills mansion following reports of a shooting. Other Hollywood figures who have experienced swatting include Jennifer Aniston, Chris Brown, Rihanna, and Justin Bieber.

Last month, the very savvy chef took to social media to update fans about a health challenge he recently overcame after he went in for surgery for a basal cell carcinoma removal. 

As shared by The Blast, Ramsay was beyond glad to have gotten an early diagnosis to help him address the skin cancer just in time. In his words: "Grateful and so appreciative for the incredible team at The Skin Associates and their fast reactive work on removing this Basal Cell Carcinoma, thank you!"

He uploaded images of himself in surgery, including pictures of him with a bandaged face and stitches, alongside a warning to his fans about prioritizing the regular application of sunscreen.

Ramsay's post was widely received by fans and well-wishers in the comments who wished him a quick recovery and commended him for the timely health check.

Last July, the celebrity chef shared pictures of bruises from his June 2024 bike crash, which he described as a terrible accident while he was out in Connecticut. The accident reportedly left him with a massive scar across his torso, but he escaped without broken bones or fractures.

Adding that the incident left him looking like a purple potato on his Instagram, he commended the medical team at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital in New London for giving him premium care.

He also noted that his helmet played a primary role in mitigating the effects of the incident, with fully healed bruises to show as proof of his recovery by December. 

The media personality has a big personality and a big family to go with it, a dynamic his wife wished to expand by adding more kids to the fold. During his appearance on "Live with Kelly and Mark," he told Kelly Ripa that his wife wants to make them a family of nine.

Ramsay added that their home also recently witnessed an influx of kids after his older children moved back home. In a report by PEOPLE, Ramsay explained that they had moved out of their former home and remodeled their new one to fit their two little kids, rather than considering the elderly ones.

However, he received the shock of his life one day when he returned from filming and discovered that the older ones had moved back into the home. "Just when you thought it was all nice and peaceful, two boys, Tana and I, man, there's now 8 of us in that house," he added. "It's insane," Ramsay declared.

During an interview, the chef had previously emphasized that a big family was not a problem for him and his wife, as that was precisely what they wanted.
