Keep your friends close and your enemies closer, they say, as the fear is mounting for Taylor Swift and her team.

The pop star's team is now frantically searching for her stalker, who has reportedly gone incognito in the face of his upcoming court hearing, which he earlier missed.

Taylor Swift has reportedly beefed up security around her since Charlie Kirk's murder, and not knowing about her stalker's whereabouts just adds a level of stress to the singer's movements.

If anything, the singer and her team are not taking her stalker's absence and lack of contact as an indication that the dust has settled; instead, they are more concerned than ever. The artist reportedly hired a private investigator to help locate the stalker, but no breaks were made.

In new documents, the private investigator named Brooke Berg stated that the singer had even tried reaching out to the stalker through a familiar phone number on September 15.

She has also reportedly texted Brian Jason Wagner three times to inform him of the upcoming hearing on September 22, but he has failed to respond.

Since the September 15 date did not pull through, a judge gave them a new date for September 22 to contact Wagner. As reported by The Daily Mail, the temporary restraining order granted on June 9 was also extended to last till September 22.

Insiders are noting that Swift developed a special interest in this case because of the great lengths Wagner has gone to discomfort her, and now he is gone. The singer's team is also on high alert because they recently discovered she has been targeted by Groyper, an (alt-right) group online.

Should the threats become too worrisome for the newly engaged pop star, the insider said it may affect her album release because her team will pump the brakes on any promo plans. It might even affect her public sightings, but all is done in a bid to ensure her safety, which is paramount at this time.

Another close source emphasized that this will take precedence over "everything she does in her life and career until it is completely taken care of in the courts and through any authoritative measures."

Through her investigations, Berg concluded that Wagner was either transient or taking on the extra task of covering his tracks and location.

Wagner has reportedly harassed the songwriter for months, including arriving unannounced at her home in Los Angeles, claiming she is the mother of his child. The Blast stated that he even stopped by her residence in May, claiming he was there to check on a friend.

Wagner was also there last July with a wine bottle, which Swift's team claimed looked like a weapon. The stalker did not stop there; he also changed his driver's license address to Swift's residence.

Upon further investigation by Swift's team, they discovered Wagner had been to jail, where he continued to text the singer and distort narratives about their connection.

Wagner's case bears a striking resemblance to a stalker case she handled in 2014. The stalker, Timothy Sweet, paid several visits to the singer's homes in Beverly Hills and Nashville despite a restraining order in place.

He also sent several texts to the musician, threatening to eliminate any man who tries to get in the way of his marriage to her.

A few years ago, Swift revealed her routine of living in a state of constant fear and watching over her back for fear of attacks from stalkers.

The Blast reported that the singer noted that she is very prepared for the worst by walking around with QuikClot, a military-grade bandaid designed to curtail gunshot or stab wounds.

Her father, Scott Swift, also confessed to acquiring armored cars at a point after his daughter endorsed Democratic candidates in Tennessee. Right after the singer endorsed Kamala Harris last year, she also awakened the anger in Donald Trump, who vowed to bring her down.

In the face of Kirk's shooting, the songwriter's presence at the Arrowhead Stadium for Travis Kelce's game was also shrouded in mystery. She arrived at the venue concealed behind a bulletproof board, ensuring the press had no view of her, unlike her usual entry into the stadium.

Experts explained that her team is not taking any chances after extremist groups came after her for endorsing Harris alongside harmful threats.

In January 2024, another Swift stalker, identified as David Crowe, was arraigned in court after he was caught visiting the singer's home two times within three days.

He also showed up at her home 30 times within 2 months, leading him to bag three charges of 4th-degree stalking and 1st and 2nd-degree harassment. On these unwarranted visits, the stalker reportedly asked to talk to the singer and also enter her home without permission.

Even after he was arrested on one occasion, Crowe returned to the scene on January 22, 2024, and was eventually arrested a block from the singer's home while she was away watching Kelce play in New York.

Crowe reportedly pleaded not guilty to the charges, leading him to be released from custody on the condition that he would be placed under supervised release with very tough conditions. He was also ordered never to attempt to contact the pop star as part of the conditions for his release.
